Efficient solution for batch scanning
The Nikon 5000 is one of the more sophisticated film scanners. The SilverFast software is a very potential addon, especially because Nikon's own software isn't supported by Nikon anymore. The perfect tool for getting perfect results, the IT8 calibration ensures true colors. When it comes to batch scanning greater collections of slides SilverFast is very handy if you also own the additional slide feeder.
THE Scanner Software - forget the rest
I can totally recommend this scanner software SilverFast Ai IT8 from LaserSoft Imaging. I wasn't able to achieve similar results with any other software. You'll have to try and to learn a little bit, if you are new to this program. But the scanning results reward for this later on.
