Great Accessory
While the Focus is already really bright outdoors, this hood is a necessary enhancement to seeing the image clearly.

702 Bright Hood
The hood provides good shade when critical viewing of the image is needed. I have the 702 Bright monitor which is very good outdoors, but I will use the hood when I can to make sure that I am getting what I want.
There is a little light leak where the hood meets the screen. The attaching and removing of the hood takes a little practice also. You can see a demo on youtube which will make it less frustrating the first time.

Needed accessory for the 702 series- Great design & Good build
If you purchase, watch the video from SmallHD on how to install and take off without breaking the end caps. Very good design as it blocks out all outside light. It has a decent length to it also but the material has some flex to it. The design also allows you to use the joystick to navigate the menus/pages.
It's a must have for the 702 series in my opinion. I wish it was a tad cheaper though, and I wish the snaps for the back had some type of design where they would be able to be replaced if something were to happen.
