SmallRig Hawklock Handheld Cage Kit for Sony FX5 Camera

SmallRig "Hawklock" Handheld Cage Kit for Sony FX5 6778 is designed to protect the camera body, provide multiple mounting interfaces for accessory expansion, and support low-angle shooting.

The cage features a modular design and includes a top mount plate and a U-shaped cage, supporting flexible setups for different shooting scenarios. Each module is secured at two or more points for stable, anti-twist mounting. Protective pads are built into camera contact points to help prevent scratches. The ergonomic top handle offers a comfortable grip and mounts quickly through the NATO clamp. Its enclosed design helps prevent accidental drops during low-angle shooting. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp helps protect the port and maintain stable signal transmission during shooting. The wrist strap features an ergonomic design to reduce wrist strain and improve security during extended handheld shooting.

The cage also includes built-in 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI locating holes, a NATO rail, an Arca-type quick release plate, a QD socket, a wrist strap slot, and more for the attachment of a wide range of professional accessories.

The bottom Arca-type quick release plate slides directly into DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 5 stabilizers and Arca-type tripods, enabling quick transitions between handheld, stabilizer, and tripod shooting. A magnetic wrench is built into the cage for convenient access and easy assembly.

• When using the top plate, confirmed compatible hot shoe accessories include the Sony ECM-B1M, ECM-M1, ECM-B10, and the DJI Mic 2 hot shoe adapter. Confirmed incompatible hot shoe accessories include the Sony ECM-W3, ECM-W3S, and ECM-W2BT microphones
• When using the Sony XLR handle (XLRH2B) or Sony EVF (DVFEL1B), the top plate must be removed first
