The SmallHD 1303 HDR 13" Production Monitor features HDR preview backed by a 10-bit Color Intelligence engine with calibration capabilities. This allows the 1303 to display a wide brightness range, including log formats and other expanded-range picture styles. The 1500 nits, daylight-viewable, 1920x1080 Full HD resolution display panel can be powered by one of two SDI inputs or an HDMI input. Each input has a loop output, eliminating the need for a splitter. Access all monitor functions via the innovative Page Builder OS. With full aluminum construction and the option for user-replaceable polycarbonate screen protectors, SmallHD built this monitor to withstand the challenges of both studio and field production.

Streamlined Operation with Page Builder OS
Initially featured in the 500 and 700-series models and expanded for the Production Monitor series, the Page Builder OS is a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) that makes the 1303's advanced functions easily accessible. Instead of confusing menus, this GUI lets you selectively apply monitoring tools like waveforms, vectorscopes, multiview, and focusing aids to up to four different "pages," easily navigated using the joystick. Front panel buttons can also toggle monitoring tools on and off for each page.

Consistent Imagery with ColorFlow 3D LUT Processing
Maintain image consistency from production through post-production with ColorFlow, which lets you import 3D LUTs and display the treated image alongside the untreated image. This helps accurately gauge exposure while visualizing what the camera is recording. Side-by-side preview can also be used with the HDR preview function. Separate LUT-treated images can be sent downstream over SDI and HDMI, so the 1303 can display a log image or LUT-treated image, while director or client monitors connected to the outputs receive images treated with a different LUT. The image-capture function saves a still frame from the incoming video stream onto an SD card and also records the applied 3D LUT for post-production reference.

Precision Color with the Color Intelligence Engine
When a separately available color probe is connected to the monitor via USB, the SmallHD 1303 can automatically adjust a 10-bit 3D calibration LUT, ensuring accurate color reproduction over the monitor's lifespan.

Quick Accessory Attachment with RapidRail Shoe-Mount System
Secure and detach accessories like wireless units quickly to the monitor's rear using standard shoe-mount rails. This saves time compared to traditional screw-mounted methods and keeps your setup tidy. If needed, these accessories can be powered directly from the monitor using the integrated 12V LEMO power output or the three USB ports.

Versatile Power Options
Attach separately available V-mount or Gold-mount battery plates to the monitor's rear. A mounted battery can power the monitor and attached accessories through the 12V LEMO connection. The USB ports on the monitor's rear can also power accessories with a maximum draw of 0.5 amps per port.
