Perfect book and laptop bag
A replacement for an earlier model that I adored for a decade. Newer model has a number of thoughtful improvements. Better design for hooking onto roller bag, better front pockets intended for controlling stuff, a divider in the side designed for paperwork. Also ideal for lightweight protection of laptops.

Big Disappointment

Not The Bag It Used To Be
My husband's glowing review was based on the bag he bought in the past. This one is not very well padded like the old one was. This one has only one top zipper compartment with a couple of lightweight pouches inside, and none of the compartments are divided inside. That is all it offers. The old bag was very well padded and had two top zipper compartments. One of those compartments was divided into two sections, and had three heavy duty pouches in one section. One of the front compartments also had several convenient pouches in them. The new bag offers none of these features. A big disappointment.

Durable, many pouches, interior dividers
Very durable. Mine is at least 7 years old and I am still loving it. Two zippered sections, two zippered front pouches, and one Velcro rear pouch where I store the shoulder strap. One of the top zippered pouches and one of the front zippered pouches have convenient separators to organize smaller items. There is even a tier of 4 pockets for credit cards, ID cards, and so on. My 15" Toshiba Satellite laptop easily fits in the main compartment. Frankly, I carry this with me wherever I go, even without my computer in it. I highly recommend this product.
