This rackmount solution is ideal for use in server rooms, thanks to its standard 3U height and standard mounting holes. The front panel operation includes dedicated power buttons for each Mac Studio computer, passthrough USB-A ports for connecting USB devices, and easy access to the computers' front ports and SD card slots.
The RackMac Studio Pro 3U Rackmount Enclosure also features a unique storage space for Thunderbolt or USB SSDs (sold separately). This space, located beneath each Mac Studio computer, is secured with two included adhesive-backed magnets.
Designed with portability in mind, the RackMac Studio Pro 3U Rackmount Enclosure has a 9.5-inch mounting depth and firm rubber cushions to hold the Mac Studios securely in place during transport. This makes it an ideal solution for use in portable racks and shallow molded rack cases.
The RackMac Studio Pro 3U Rackmount Enclosure also supports the Mac Studio's thermal design, ensuring that your computers stay as cool in the rack as they would on a desk. Ventilation holes on the enclosure's front panel and an open back design allow for efficient heat dissipation.
In addition, the RackMac Studio Pro 3U Rackmount Enclosure is designed to allow normal WiFi and Bluetooth wireless operation in most configurations, enabling you to use wireless devices and iOS device control apps.
