You can elevate your live streaming and local broadcasting experience with the high-tech Softron OnTheAir Video 3 for Mac. This innovative, automated playout software is designed to streamline your operations with its sophisticated scheduling capabilities and flexible playlist support.
As a modern solution for live operations, OnTheAir Video 3 serves as an efficient clip store, capable of direct-to-web streaming without the need for an additional video card. This is made possible when paired with Softron's MovieRecorder 3, which is sold separately. MovieRecorder 3 seamlessly receives frames from OnTheAir Video 3 and encodes them into any required format, including HTTP Live Streaming.
For added versatility, you can also opt to stream using an additional card and Softron's MovieStreamer HLS software, both sold separately. Unlike previous versions, OnTheAir Video 3 now comes with built-in HD support, a scheduler, and a static logo overlay feature.
The software's playlist capabilities are designed for efficiency and flexibility. Playlists can be scheduled to play automatically at assigned times, non-stop for days, or even looped for months until a new start date/time is set. You can also edit your playlists during playout for maximum control.
OnTheAir Video 3 supports a variety of file types, including QuickTime (.mov), Transport Stream (.ts), and MXF (.MXF), among others. Still images can be played in PNG and other formats, and audio support extends up to 5.1 channels.
At the heart of this stylish software is Softron's own Smart Playout Engine. This advanced player allows for the mixing of multiple codecs and resolutions in the same playlist without the need for additional software. It also features three resize tools that efficiently scale frame sizes. These include Automatic Resize, which scales to Fill, Pan-and-Scan, or Letterbox; Manual Resize, which lets you define parameters; and Smart Resize, which produces an advanced resize of interlaced clips, limiting artifacts to a minimum or none.
Experience the sleek, modern design and superior functionality of the Softron OnTheAir Video 3 for Mac, a reputable brand known for producing high-quality products.
