Lacking Vital Feature
Overall product is a great idea. Zone your home with out sound cables needed. Great idea. The problem, if you are in another room listinging to the portable speaker and seeing some iPod data ont he remote and the speaker, should't your remote comander (and the speaker) allow you to see all of the iPod screen data and navigate it as well? I want to change artists, change playlists, do anything that the iPod navigation screen allows within the music section of my iPod. And all of this functionality in the remote needs to be done without line of sight requirments (think Bluetooth technology etc). I want to see my docked iPod data and control it from the hammock in my yard, not sitting infront of the home theatre system where it is docked. If I can control the volume and change from radio to iPod for input source, why not everything else. Additonally why not allow the doc station to have inputs on it as well (think Apple iTV output feeding into your Multi room Alt Air device for additional music bliss). Sony you need to rethink how you develop products. Find solutions to the problems that are common to users. This issue is an old issue that does not seem to be corrected yet.

I have purchased this product over a year ago and it is used almost every hour of the day. It took about 10 mins to get the whole system up and running out of the box. I have never had a problem with any of the 6 speakers i purchased. I used it for music when my young kids went to sleep and it goes all day long. I was impressed with the sound quality and the volume output for being so small. I have had many people over and they are all very impressed with the product. It is a cost to get started but would say the best $1000 worth of music equipment I have ever purchased. Was nice not to have to run wire all over the house to get music to play everywhere. I use it outside during yardwork and not noticed any loss in sound quality being that far away from the base unit. Well worth the money without a doubt.

Pain to install, no support and need 6 speaker
I bought extra speakers and now the original two do not work & their is no support available. EXTRA speakers are very expensive..d
