Sony has always had my faithful following until now. Bought this package in late 2013 and it has now failed. It won't fully turn on, just continually loads with the display going from bright to dim, but will never power on. You can't change function and there is no disc in it either. I have read online several other complaints of this, Sony has clearly dropped the ball and had a subpar product on the market that they're not willing to stand behind.

At first I liked the unit. The more I used it the more it let me down. The surroud speakers (rear) have little or no bass. Most of the time you hear something that sounds like something fell in the kitchen. Long time to boot around 40secs after the tv comes on and reads no signal. I completly do not understand how you mount the speakers from the rear. If it means removing the black rectangular cap on the back, forget about it. I would create more damage to the speakers. Try finding speaker stands for that syatem. I ended up buying flat stands that are too large for the rear speakers looks weird. Every speaker stand I tried would not mount the speakers with that bottom mount setup. If Im wrong about my review can someone let me know.

This is the first and last sony product I will buy. I have had the system for eight months and it quit working. They want me to mail it to Texas for repair. What am I suppose to do in the meantime? They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. For the price of this system I expect better service. All my other purchases have been LG and Samsung. Bet there will never be another Sony product in my house. I am sure telling all my friends and family how bad their products and service is.

I liked the feature where the disk slides in the side of the top. No tray for a small child to break off by accident. I also bought it for the Wi-Fi feature and the rear wireless speakers. I was surprised by all the internet features available including Pandora and Netflix. Some of the internet features, like Netflix require a subscription fee and some are free. The surround sound is great and I also run my satellite TV through it too. The light in front dims every time you touch a button; it reminds me of an old Cylon eye moving back and forth. It was very easy to setup and use. The remote is small and easy to use. It even remembers the movies you watch and you put a disc you watch back in and it will ask you if you want resume play. It is a great system.

It sounds good but it's not very user friendly. Cheaper models are Bluetooth equipped. I can't get it formatted to fit my screen no matter what. I wanted to return it but I bought it for my boy friend before Christmas and missed out on my time to return.

Does everything and does it well. Didn't bankrupt me to buy it and didn't drive me nuts putting it together. I'm real happy with its versatility and my neighbors like it too!

The sound is great. The video is excellent. But this thing constantly freezes up. I have to Actually cut power to the unit by switching off my surge protector in order to get it to reboot. Freaking annoying! Happens at least once a week for no particular reason. The power button won't even turn it off when this happens. Also constantly freezes Instant Amazon, Vudu and Netflix even though the wifi signal is 100%. This does not happen with any of my other devices. I am very disappointed with this system and am considering a warranty return. At least I got it from Best Buy with an extended warranty. Had it six months now. What a joke!

Very easy setup with on screen menus. Very easy wireless network connections and a lot internet features. The sounds are theater quality. I also like the fact that it does not use a tray for loading dvd's/cd's. Overall I would buy another one.

I love my Sony 3D Blue ray DVD surround sound system. It is like being at a high dollar movie! I am able to get on wifi to view Netflix, Pandora, and other favorite Apps like Facebook. Their customer service is awesome too!

Smart system on wifi. Good sound and easy to use. Only problem I had was the keybord used to enter a search on browser, but I downloaded an app on my smartphone and I can now use its qwerty keybord. Very happy with the system.

I love the surround sound...with no wires across the room. It did quit working after a couple of months...but, Sony repair center in TX fixed with no charge. Has worked great since...over a year.

This player has easy setup and fairly good sound quality. However, there are many instances, when switching from one program to another (TV, HDMI, Vudu, Netflix, etc), where the machine will freeze or exit itself out of a program. The only fix is waiting or trying to shut it off/on several times.

Great looking equipment, nice Blu-ray pic. For some reason, the unit completely freezes to the point where I have to unplug the system and re-start. Wish the Surround speakers were completely wireless as well, but overall its not bad for the money. Would definitely buy something else next time.
