The BRC-X400 4K UltraHD Camera supports NDI/HX (via optional license), facilitating efficient IP-based live production and flexible configuration with other networked NDI-enabled devices. It also supports RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) and RTMP (Real Time Messaging Protocol), ensuring smooth, stable streaming of video and audio (from an optional microphone, available separately) over an IP network.

The camera's installation and set-up are straightforward, thanks to the new Scene File function that allows the same settings to be applied to multiple cameras. It also supports genlock and features an 'on-air' tally lamp, simplifying its integration in multi-camera live events.
