Under the umbrella of professional-grade monitors, the BVM E251 25" 4K TRIMASTER EL OLED Critical Reference Full HD Monitor stands out with its advanced features and superior performance. This 24.5" TRIMASTER EL reference monitor is equipped with 2nd Gen OLED technology, offering a significantly enhanced viewing angle for critical picture evaluation in studio and on-set environments.
Ideal for professional applications such as color grading, high-end editing, broadcasting, and scientific research, this monitor utilizes Sony's cutting-edge Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) technology and signal processing technology. This combination ensures unparalleled performance, reducing color shift depending on the viewing angle to less than half that of the 1st generation OLED panel.
The BVM-E251 monitor is designed to allow multiple people to evaluate the image with extreme accuracy simultaneously, enhancing its versatility in top-end monitoring solutions. It boasts Sony TRIMASTER EL technology, which combines the ultimate performance of Sony OLED display with highly sophisticated TRIMASTER technology to deliver the highest level of picture performance. This includes a wide viewing angle, accurate black reproduction, high purity and accurate color reproduction, quick response time with virtually no motion blur, and a very high contrast ratio.
The monitor's Super Top Emission technology features a micro-cavity structure with color filters, enhancing color purity and improving light-emission efficiency. The high-precision signal processing engine is optimized to maximize OLED panel performance, incorporating 12-bit output accuracy at each process and providing a high-quality I/P conversion algorithm and a highly accurate color management system.
The BVM-E251 monitor supports almost any SD or HD video format, including analogue composite video, HDMI, and SDI, and variable computer signals through HDMI. It also features an Auto White Balance function that automatically adjusts the color temperature and white balance using specified color temperature probes.
With its high-quality I/P conversion technology, the BVM-E251 monitor minimizes artifacts often seen in flat panel displays, such as edge jaggedness and conversion errors. The display engine ensures a picture delay that is less than one field, and every BVM-E251 monitor is carefully calibrated at the factory on an individual basis for high accuracy and stability.
Additional features include interlaced display mode, Picture & Picture mode, pixel zoom mode, gamut error display, S-Log3 and S-Log2 EOTF, 2K picture resolution, scan switch, native scan, HD frame capture mode, and more. The BVM-E251 monitor is also equipped with a separate control unit with a USB memory slot, centralized monitor-wall control, DC operation, a character off button, a copy function for monitor setup and adjustment data, a +12dB Chroma UP function, marker settings, an aspect switch, and a wide variety of over 40 functions to choose from.
