Fails at being 'Tough'

Sony Tough cards have a pretty solid reputation, and certainly light years ahead of some competitors like Angelbird. Or so I thought for the first couple years. Unfortunately, by the 3rd year the CF Express Tybe B card started developing cracks in the plastic housing. I would expect this from typical card manufacturers known for such issues, but not from the Sony "TOUGH" lineup. This card has never left the camera or card reader and has been pampered its entire life, but simply isn't holding up long-term.

Great product!

This memory card works as advertised. I use it in my Nikon D6. I liked that it's physically shaped in such a way that you cannot easily install it backwards or reversed (thereby damaging the card or your camera). I did some test shots in single, burst, and continuous modes and found nothing to complain about. I did not encounter anything other than a great product doing what it should be doing. Being great!

If you want the best CFEXPRESS card for your Nikon mirrorless camera, this is it. 256gb is the sweet spot. Read and write speeds are very impressive. I use this card and I have no regrets. Its reliable and these cards rarely go bad.

I purchased two CFexpress cards from another vendor. They are supposed to be compatible with my new Nikon D6 (as stated by the vendor). They did not work and would not format in my camera. The vendor would not take them back or refund my money because my purchase was older than 30 days old. I decided that I would purchase two Sony CFexpress cards from Adorama. As soon as I inserted them into my camera they worked immediately. I'm thinking that Adorama is now going to be my go to for camera equipment.

There is no CFexpress card reader now

I just purchased this card for my Nikon Z7 and I was unable to read the card through the camera and there is no card reader to transfer the information to the computer. I have a $ brick. I am sure some one will eventually build a card reader but I can't find one now.
