The DCR-HC28 offers up to 500 lines of horizontal resolution, three times higher color bandwidth, and a significantly higher signal/noise ratio, to provide spectacular video performance.

The 20x optical zoom helps to bring the action close up from far away. In addition the digital zoom interpolation helps to get clearer image even when an object is extremely zoomed with the help of its digital zoom. With NightShot Plus Infrared System you can capture natural looking video, even when shooting in low light.
