so i have been using this camera as a tool for my private investigation business for the past year or so, then i decide to update my computer to something a little faster. I'm fair tech savy however i have been unable to download PMB or any software for the camera onto my new pc as win 7 and usb 3.0 is unsupported by this product? Sony, get your act together and bring out some sort of update or new software to fix this as i have clients waiting for video footage! my just have to go by a canon in future.

Worst investment of my life. Originally purchased while running a Dell but it was never a very intuitive camera while trying to upload videos. I am now running a Mac full-time and it is not supported...so basically, I purchased this 2 years ago, never used it because of the headaches involved, and now I can't even if I wanted to. Why would you make a product that won't work on a mac? Thanks Sony, real classy.

I love the camera and use it to record skateboarding. Everything is great but I wish there were more still image options such as consucutive shots and negative.

I got this camera from my wife and kids on fathers day and I was breathless. I could not believe the size and versatility. This camera was perfect. Then I turned it on and wow. 60* zoom and a 60 GB hard disk was a mind blower. I went to the back yard right away to see this thing in action. All i can say is OUTSTANDING. This camera is for any one looking everything in one and sick of all the extra nonsense that come with camcorders that most of us never use.(Please keep in mind that this is a 60 GB hard disk so get an extra battery...)

Great camera, operates very well under low light conditions, built in mic very sensitive. In my case that's the problem. I use my camera under crowded conditions and sometimes it's hard to hear the subject under these conditions without an external mic. Problem is that there is no microphone accessory or any way to connect an external or especially a wireless mic.

This camera does everything that I wanted it to do except one thing that renders it worthless. You cannot see the view screen in bright sunlight. If you can't see what your shooting shots are all over the place. If there is a solution I would sure like to know it. Other than that love the camera.

this camcorder is awesome. I got one a few days ago and have loved it since. it''s really easy to use and has a bunch of cool features like the 60GB hard drive, the 60x optical zoom, and the 2000x zoom. I would recommend this camcorder to everybody. The only con tho this camcorder is that it's not HD, but it's still really cool.

it has all the proffessional features s. specifically the 60x zoom . capability of touch screen and clarity of the screen . so muh facility of snapping the photos and getting the snaps of the choice from your movie recording. really happy to buy it.
