Shopper : What is the difference b/t these two products?TREVOR C : The cord on the left goes into a transmitter that sends signals to the video source wirelessly. The cord on the right goes into an XLR cable that connects directly to the video source.DAVID B : The Sony ECM-44BMP has a 1/8" Locking Mini-Plug to be used with the Sony WRT-805 Wireless Transmitter. The Sony ECM-44 Condenser mic with XLR connector. Mic requires 1 AA battery. This is a very good budget microphone for interviews. You'll need an XLR cable for this mic.JAMES D : The less expensive one is just a microphone alone that you can use to connect to a wireless mic body pack. The other is a self contained, wired microphone that you connect to a camera or mixer and start recording.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?FERNANDO S : I owe this microphone with a Sony transmitter since 2011, and use it a lot since then. After so many years, is now noisy, since the cable is not in good condition, so I'm buying a new one.
