OLGA A : I see they show this accessory as an accessory that will work on the Sony HDR AS50R but looking all over this camcorder, I cannot see where this mic can plug into. I don't see a mini plug hole. Is there somewhere I haven't looked?ANDREW R : I don't believe that the HDR-AS50R has mic input. I'm not sure why this would be listed as an accessory for that particular camera.

Brice B : Will this mic work with the PCMM10 Sony digital recorder?RON H : I am not sure. I have a Zoom recorder and it works fine on it. If the mini plug will fit into your recorder it should work.

A Great Microphone

I am very happy with this great little microphone. The quality is great and is very practical to use. And it was certainly worth the price, which was very reasonable.

Audio Quality is a Disappointment

After using Sony's acclaimed ECM-MS907 for more than 5 years, I ordered the Sony ECM-CS10 to use for audio journal keeping while on the road. When it arrived, I compared the audio quality of its recordings to that of my MS907. In spite of its pleasing aesthetics, I found it to be a sad disappointment!!! The ECM-CS10 is a very noisy microphone with an audio quality far inferior of what I would expect from a Sony mic. (I wonder whether this is because it is a plug-in-power mic). I have since used other lapel style microphoes (mono only) and have found their quality to be far better than this microphone.
