Shopper : Is this mic for the Sony UTX-B03 Transmitter?RICHARD S : Yes. I own the UTX-B03 and ECM-V1BMP is the stock mic included with each transmitter—same as the UWP series. BUT...some Sony kits were sold overseas at a significantly higher price with the 2x ECM-V1BMP changed to 2x Sony ECM-77BMP (ECM77) ECM-77B mics cost twice as much and are marketed as "probably the most often seen lapel microphone on TV". ECM-V1BMP sounds fine but I'm thinking about comparing.ANDREW R : This electret condenser omni-directional lavalier microphone is for use with Sony UWP series wireless systems. This lavalier microphone also comes supplied with UWP-V1, UWP-V6 and UTX-B2V wireless models.
Shopper : Can I use this with a camcorder?MIKE M : It might work, but I have found that, even if there is a connection for a mic, you have to use a mic with phantom power (it's own battery).
