About Vitec FS-H50

The Vitec FS-H50 is a handheld H.264 proxy video recorder with composite input. The FS-H50 is part of the product line extension of the recently announced wireless adapter products (CBK-WA100 and CBK-WA101). The VITEC recorders provide different video signal input choices as well as capabilities which enable the partners to offer additional solutions at other price points.

This portable, battery powered recorder features H.264 recording at various bit rates and resolutions (up to SD). It records H.264 encoded video clips onto a SDHC card in a user selectable file wrapper (MOV, MP4 or AVC HD). All of the recorders feature a web browser interface which enables the operator to monitor the live input video signal as a streaming video file, operate the recorder or review the proxy video clips over a Wi-Fi connection using a PC or mobile device running a web browser.
