About Softron ProCodecs Option
The ProCodecs option adds the support of additional codecs and MXF to MovieRecorder 3.
Without the ProCodecs option , you can record to:
• QuickTime containers
• Apple ProRes (Proxy), Apple ProRes (LT), Apple ProRes 422, Apple ProRes (HQ), Apple ProRes 4444, H.264, DNxHD, Uncompressed.
WITH the ProCodecs option , you will be able to record also to:
• MXF containers
• AVC-Intra 50, AVC-Intra 100, DV/DVCPRO, DVCPRO HD, IMX, XDCAM Ex, XDCAM HD, XDCAM HD422.
How Many Options Do You Need
One option needs to be purchased for each license of MovieRecorder 3 that you own. Except for the M,80 which only needs one option for the whole 8 licenses bundle. This option can be purchased alone, but it will need a valid MovieRecorder 3 license to work with.
Adding Option To An Existing Serial Number Or Dongle
If you own a license of MovieRecorder 3 and want to add the ProCodecs option, you will need to provide them in the Comments area the serial number of the dongle that needs to be upgraded.
