Meet Mr. BA

This knife is the BA of all knife's. Due to it's size it may not be the most practical knife, definitely not for your cub scout, but this knife delivers. I use mine for home defense, camping, manly meat eating, show-n-tell for my girls' dates. It has not failed me yet. I love the knuckle guard and prefer the skull crusher to the more messy 9 inch blade. I like to go stealth every once in a while and the skull crush is an easy option. For the money this knife will not disappoint. I am in love with mine and it sleeps closer to me than my wife. She has not left me yet.

Stop the surrations

Great knife but SOG needs to bring back the tigershark without the surrations.

Superb Quality & Versatile

The Tigershark Elite is a great example of SOG's commitment to quality & the knife itself is an intimidating sight to behold. The Tigershark is enormous! It's well balanced, feels sturdy in the hand, & the ability to use it with or without the handguard makes it versatile. I've already put my Tigershark through some abuse in the field & the blade's still razor sharp & the finish looks untouched. The sheath looks great & has a pouch that now holds my SOG multi tool. The Tigershark's a workhorse & I have no doubt will be a useful companion in the woods this winter.

Beast!

I have owned this beast of a blade for several years. It is easily the largest and most robust blade I own without calling it a machete. Even though it is huge, the blade is very well balanced. You do not notice the weight of the blade until you strike something with the "business end" and the kindling, etc. simply gives way. The added strike pommel and hand guard wouldmake this a fformidable impact weapon, as well... even though I have not used it inssuch a fashion. The TiNi coating has also held up very well afterrepeated batoning. The secret is to carry a ssmall can on WD-40 and use liberally duringuse. The WD-40 also makes ccleaning the blade very easy.

The Absolute Best Knife Ever!!

After receiving the SOG S37-K SEAL Teams knife as a precious gift, and using it, its fascination led me to searching to see if SOG made a bigger knife just like it but with a Rambo-type blade and blade length. I was absolutely smitten with my new s37-K SOG knife, I almost settled and stopped my search for a high quality fixed blade knife. Still though, as bad and mean as my new S37-K knife is, I still just felt that I needed a knife that stands out and that told people, "You really don't want to make my owner angry enough to pull me from his side now!" Anyway, I kept looking. My wife, who is so wonderful that she agreed to let me buy the perfect knife, within reasonable prices of course. This right here was a definite sign that my wife loved me very much. My wife absolutely hates weapons no matter w what kind they are. So, this being said, I view the knives I have as gifts from her, which is awesome. Anyway, I came across the SOG Tigershark Elite. After reviewing it and reading about it, I decided that, finally, I found my ideal knife. I bought it brand new via [...] It arrived a few days ago and when I held it for the first time, my heart just stopped! My brand new Tigershark Elite knife by SOG, which is the biggest and the baddest knife in the SEAL Team family, is just plain one big massive awesome grief razor sharp steel, designed and honed to perfection. Now I'm sure that everyone is aware of the iconic paper-cutting sharp knife Hollywood demonstration of the Jimmy Lile awesome First Blood movie knife in the movie of the same name But the true test to do on any and all knives, besides the paper-cutting test is the one-of-a-kind tomato cutting test. Take a tomato and your favoritekitchen pocket, switchblade, fixed blade, bowie or combat/suuival knife. Lay tomato down and cut it with your knife. If the knife slices the tomato into very easily, smoothly, and hardly any pressure, then you know your knife is sharp! However, if your knife just mashes into the tomato no matter how much pressure you give it, and the insides of the tomato just oozes out, then you have a severely dull knife and it needs sharpening STAT! Well, both my SOG SEAL knives, the S37-k and my newest one, Tigershark Elite, just simply shied right through the tomato, just as easy and smooth as performing surgery. I even went and cut a small tree in half at a snap of finger. With minimum force, it sliced the tree in half. The cut was surgery-smooth and no damages at all to the knife blade or it's nitrate coating. Then I bought it home and again, it sliced the paper and tomato Clean in half. I am so amazed by this awesome knife. I've even talked about SOG knives with a 30-year bladesmith veteran, and he said the SOG knives are the absolute best going knives today. He told me that Cold Steel brands, Ontario knives, none of them gets their steel blades tempered right and heat treated correctly, which give them poor quality. But, he said, S0G is Right On TheMark with theirs, heating and treating all their blades correctly. Summing up, I highly recommend S0G knives, especially all of them in the SEAL Teams familyof knives! Thanks for reading!

• In the presence of the revised Tigershark series, one's pulse quickens. It is instantly recognized for its signature handguard and defensive rear point, which are removable for a more streamlined look. But it is also familiar as the largest member of the SEAL series with precise grind lines, rasped back, touch point checkering, and superior ergonomics. The Tigershark is capable of chopping and slicing with an economy of scale and ferocity not available to smaller knives. Still, it's impeccable balance and style create fluidity in the hand that is unexpected and thrilling. • Please Note: Handguard and rear point are packaged separately, and are also removeable at any time.
