Designed for the advanced user, this reliable studio editing recorder is capable of recording and playing back in HDCAM 1080/59.94i, 50i, 25PsF, 29.97PsF, 23.98PsF, and 24PsF formats. It also features a 3-2 pull down option, available with the HKDW-104 option board.
Inheriting all the editing functions from the esteemed HDW-2000 series, the HDW-D1800 offers features such as Dynamic Motion Control (DMC), audio split, pre-read, and audio cross-fade editing. It also boasts a color LCD panel on the control panel, providing a wealth of information including an audio level meter and time data.
The LCD unit also displays video during playback or recording, enhancing your editing process. The built-in down converter enables output in 480/59.94i or 576/50i, while the up converter enables 1080/59.94i or 1080/50i HD output from Digital Betacam or MPEG IMX tape playback.
The HDW-D1800 also supports the recording and playback of up to 3 packets of VANC metadata. Non-audio recording options are also available, such as Dolby-E or AC3. With the HKDW-104 option board, you can also avail of 720/50P or 720/59.94P output.
For those looking to record i.LINK (HDV) signals from HDV devices onto HDCAM tapes, the HKDW-105 i.LINK (HDV) input option board can be installed.
