About Sony HKDW-104

The Sony HKDW-104 is a playback/output board for the HDW-1800 studio editing recorder, capable of either playing HDCAM footage with 3:2 pull-down cadence useful for 24p applications, as well as being able to cross-convert to 720p, which can be useful for both HD broadcast mastering and NLE ingestion.

  • Allows 1080i material to be converted & output as a 720p signal
  • Also allows 2:3 pull-down capability
