Fantastic sound quality

Bought this a few weeks ago and have used it for telephone recording with the additional earphone microphone and dictation. The sound quality of the spoken voice recording through the built in microphones is the best I have come across when compared to two other Olympus dictaphones I have previously used.

Great pick up range

I bought this a month ago to record minutes of meetings in a reasonably sized room where the speakers sit in a semi circle. It has been invaluable when compiling the minute and checking facts. The operating instructions could be a bit clearer to assist with setting up.

Good product

Although the Sony ICD-SX1000 voice recorder is a bit pricy, it met or exceeded my expectations. The recorder picks up sound with great clarity even from distances of 15 - 20 feet. Search around for the best price!!!
