I bought this clock radio just over 2 weeks ago to replace an old AM/FM portable radio in my bedroom. From the outset it became clear that I was dealing with a well thought out and highly technical piece of audio equipment with almost too many great features.

Love this product. I bought it to replace an old clock radio. It's great that you can turn off the light for complete darkness during the night but light up the numbers again with one touch. It's simple to operate and set the alarm. It's also easy to link via Bluetooth to internet radio and music. Great sound from the speakers.

Very difficult not to touch buttons when resetting the clock Would of suited me if you could set alarm for each day individually rather than Monday to Friday, or Saturday and Sunday.

LOOKS: Fantastic Sony make great looking products, and this one is no exception. RADIO/CLOCK: Fantastic Large display for the clock. Two totally independent alarms - both settable for one off, every day, weekdays or weekends. Single button press to activate/deactivate alarm (different button for each). Auto-Preset tuning with 20 preset FM memories. DIMMER: Fantastic Four dimmer settings (off, dim, normal and bright), with the lowest setting being perfect for the bedroom without illuminating the entire room. This has always been one of my biggest complaints with bedside radio/clocks - being far too bright to sleep with beside the bed. Really, this lowest dimmer setting is just perfect. SOUND: Fantastic For a bedside clock/radio the sound is really great. Really. Fine adjustment lets you set the volume so low you can barely hear, it right up to really loud. And again, this has been another of my sore points with bedside radio/clocks - not being able to adjust the volume low enough to hear it without keeping you awake with it (if you know what I mean). And the sound quality is surprisingly great too. Other reviewers have complained about the sound - but, with the words 'Dream Machine' on it, and the title of 'Personal Audio System', this product is not supposed to be a living room Mini-Hi-Fi system. It is a bedside clock/radio, and for that the quality is above and beyond it call of duty. There are also a combination of Mega-Bass and Mega Xpand settings to adjust the sound with if desired. CONNECTIVITY: Fantastic Wired, Bluetooth, NFC. What more can you want ? OPERATION: Good The interface to the clock/radio has buttons on the top and both sides of the device - which sometimes leads to having to pick up the device to set things up (eg. setting an alarm). However, once set up, it is easy and straight forward to operate. What more can I say ? I am VERY pleased with my purchase, and more than happy with my sounds in the bedroom now. Finally. After a long search.

A remote would have been good to have, it connects well through bluetooth and sound quality is decent
