I really love this AM/FM/Weather Band Digital Tuner Shower Radio (ICF-S79W), I have 2 of them, however I hope Sony will be considering adding a Bluetooth functionality to update this. It would be perfect then and better than any shower radio on the market today.

Great build quality. The "C" cell batteries free the need for a cord. Great reception and exceptional sound quality. Even the weather band sounds good. It has just the right combination of features.

Just received this product and I can now see why all the love for it. My wife had tried a shower radio bought from amazon and the sound and clarity doesn't compare. I can see why this is a 5* product on many review sites. Just simply works. Love the timer, keeps me at a good routine. Flexible antenna that can be quite lengthy. Love it.

I ordered this radio to replace an oldie that finally quit! The features are terrific, especially the timer - will definitely save on batteries! Love having the station presets - now we can easily find all our favorites. Excellent reception on the bathroom windowsill - sound is amazing, too! I am so impressed, I'm ordering 2 more for my kids.

I have had this for over two years and never had trouble it picks up stations very good.I have it in the shower and in the bath room no problems.I just bought two more for the house and to take Camping.

I use daily in the bathroom as you get ready in the morning and evening. It has the longest battery life, albiet you have to use 3 C batteries. I now own three of them because I was afraid they would discontinue this product and I did not want to be left without one. I love it!

I gave this as a gift to my 4 teens to use in the bathroom, about 10 yrs ago! It lasted that long, until I accidentally broke it! I just ordered the new replacement and it is just as good as the first one. One set of batteries lasts at least a year! That includes about 4 hrs of daily use! I love this radio and so do my kids. I have given one as a gift. I hope Sony never stops making this model.

We have had this radio for at least 15 years and it has been great. We are ordering another cause the top cover finally cracked.

I have had this radio going on SIX YEARS now. I was purchasing a speaker system and checked to see if Sony still offers it just to see. I bought it in my senior year of High School and was a little weary of spending $50 on a shower radio but I have clearly gotten my money's worth. I use it when in the shower, while cooking in the kitchen, have brought it to the beach a number of times, and everywhere in between. I would say I only have to change the batteries (3-C) every six months or so and I play it EVERY DAY. OTher than the seal on the top cracking bit by bit as the years go on, it still works, clear as a whistle...or a nice radio!

I've had this radio in my bathroom for 18 years or more.I did not use in shower but on the shelf.Great sound now I have a second home I was going to buy another but I found out does not have tv band any longer. So I'm very disappointed.
