Brilliant TV but have knocked a star off due to fiddly set up issues getting surround sound working.

For a relatively expensive TV the picture quality is just OK. I had to spend a lot of time adjusting the brightness, contrast and color to get a reasonable picture. Also, there is no connection between the TV picture settings and the home/menu pages settings- if you switch from watching the TV to the home page the brightness level is way too high. The viewing angle is very small - If you move even slightly to the left or right it's hard to see a clear image. The android OS is useful as it allows all the usual TV apps to be downloaded as well as other useful apps such as VPN. I'm disappointed about the satellite tuner as it does not have freesat support with the 7 day EPG and only provides the basic now/next program information

It's too early to tell. I had to buy an adapter to play it through my Kenwood stereo. It replaces a 15 year old Sony Bravia 40inch that is still working fine. I understand Sony are having future smaller TVs made in Europe with European parts.

Do not buy anything from Sony . I bought Sony Bravia quad surround sound system . I had to return it simply for a software update and they return my product damaged . They won't own up to it . I WILL NEVER BUY A SONY PRODUCT AGAIN

Good product , shame Sony choose to use non standard ( M5) bolts for use in standard ( VESA ) wall mounts . Pain to go buy the extra bolts .

I have had tv about 3 months but wanted to put it on the wall however the 4 holes for wall brackets are recessed And I do not have the VS parts I have asked for them before but have had no answers Model No K-43S3 can you be of any help

Now it is set up it appears excellent. I did have problems downloading some apps that by some voodoo suddenly appeared but being a tech tricky I found working how some systems worked rather difficult

Easy to set up, perfect size, and the picture and sound are great for the price. Colour is decent as well. It's a shame you can't watch live itv channels through itvX, as I do like to watch terrestrial TV. However other than that I have no complaints!

Had the tv for 3 weeks found it a lot more complicated than our others (LG) but soon got to grips with it great picture quality and sound like the voice control and the apps will be replacing our others with the Sony brand

Awful experience from start to eventual finish. Original television was delivered outside the scheduled time window notified by courier,with no one home, dropped over a 6ft locked gate and left outside in heavy rain. It then took circa 3+ weeks from collection of 'wet' television to delivery of a new replacement television, repeated chase up calls to Sony customer service, with little or no action.

Unfortunately, the picture on this tv was very disappointing. Despite trying various picture settings, when viewing people the skin tones just did not look natural. Having owned a Sony television prior to this which was purchased in 2018, there was no comparison to the newer version. Have returned it to the store and purchased a different make which is much better.

Supplied as warranty replacement for KD-43x80J which had a screen problem and Freeview reception failure. Disappointed that its satellite reception is not divided between Freesat and general coverage like the KD-43X80J. It is also slower to activate the ARC and optically connected AV receiver. Picture quality is good.

Good picture quality but let down by complicated set up menus and poor remote control functionality. Not as good as previous Sony 43XE70xx. Also, no decent handbook provided. This is not good progress Sony! Somewhat disappointed.

We bought this new Sony TV a few weeks ago. Had it installed and setup by TV supplier. It needed some resetting within a week as some faces appeared plastic and stretched (very unflattering) and there was intermittent glitches on the screen that started maybe once an hour, but by the time the installer came about a week later, the glitches were about every 20 minutes and annoying. The glitches only lasted a second or so, but disturbed our concentration on the programme. The repairer came and reset everything and it now works much better. I'll wait to see if it keeps working OK, otherwise I'll have to call the shop back to send their repair er person to fix it, or replace it. Hopefully that won't be necessary. One reason we chose this particular TV is because if the 5-year guarantee-warranty. As it seems modern TVs are not as good as old fashioned TVs that lasted for years and years without any problems. Like most modern goods these days, modern smart TVs appear to be built to fail instead of lasting for many years.

It was quite annoying to set up, so much Google stuff to go through, very complicated for us in our 60's. Eventually after 45 minutes we were up and running. The picture quality was excellent. However we misunderstood the label on the front of the screen and thought we had to remove a protective cover, after doing this we realised that this label said not to as this was obviously part of the screen itself!! We had totally ruined a £500 television! Please Sony, don't put this warning label on the screen.

I bought this model less than a month ago but it seems to have a mind of its own. The TV jumps onto different options all by itself. The remote has not been touched at all

Received the television 2 days ago. No manual and has to get help to set it up. Great picture colour and sound. Went for 43" model but would have loved to see the bigger model. Ideal for sitting room.

Really simple layout on the display and easy to navigate. Has some great new features updated from our older Bravia model. Great sound and picture quality. We particularly like that we can set up child and adult accounts so we know the kids are not watching things they shouldn't be.

Just bought 2 of these TVs . Picture and sound are good . But within 10 minutes of watching the tv I get really bad nausea . I have tried moving the tv further away from, turning off motion settings, turning the brightness down , all of these only helps a little a little . I'm just hoping there will be a firmware update in the future to. I also have a Samsung tv which is the same size and I don't have any of these problems . I'm just so disappointed . I've been reading a few forums and it looks like I'm not the only one to get these symptoms from watching the tv . I have also tried watching for an hour or so but then my eyes start to ache

Great picture, great sound,great connectivity. But, lack of 7 day epg for satellite TV such as Freesat is a major flaw. I had this in my Sony 8196. Perhaps Sony will fix this issue in an update? Somewhat disappointing!
