The setting up process with Google apps etc was bizarre and impossible to implement. We have never experienced anything like it when buying a television before. After wasting an entire afternoon we were able on one screen to choose between 'Google set up' and a 'Basic set up' . Choosing Basic we got the television to work as our previous one, but have no idea what additional facilities we are now missing out on. Manufactureres MUST realise the older generation are just unable to implement modern advanced technology - manufacturers must understand they are excluding our generation from it.

This is an excellent TV, easy to use with a good picture and sound quality. The picture is excellent from different angles and this TV represents excellent value for money

I am happy with the tv but looking online instructions are not always clear. For example for a number days we have been getting subtitles on the screed without wanting them and tried numerous times to remove them but they still kept coming back. Proper help would be appreciated

Bought K43S38BP.UKA from John Lewis, as we always do. Was told that set up was simple. It took up over half a day, with phone calls to Morocco and Egypt. Remote control has small buttons which are too close together. Picture quality is good, as I would expect from Sony.

Good picture and once you've figured out the settings, voice levels fine. A little tricky to set up with satellite but hit there in the end.

Mmm !! I have have had Sony Bravia tv's before and was rather a fan of the 'idea' of reliabilty etc.. Whilst I am fairly confident this TV will be reliable - I have to say that the quality of the picture is below what I expected. I have tried for over a week or more tweeking the settings (and advanced settings) - but whilst the picture is certainly 'adequate' - it doesn't hit my expectation. The external shots are fine and pretty natural, but it does seem to struggle balancing studio shots with what these days almost seems to be the obligatory mix of 'lairy' colours. Internal shots of skin-tones seems a particular problem. We didn't have that issue in our previous tv ( dare I say it -a 'p*******c'). The tv comes with a standard refresh rate of 60 megahertz ( or whatever it is) and can be quite 'juddery' with motion shots. Having said all that we didn't think that other makes of similarly priced -and even the more expensive tvs - of various other makes that we saw in the showrooms handled the interior studio shots well either. Maybe I'm just getting old and expecting too much from technology.

Purchased approx 2 weeks ago, picture quality is excellent, they only disappointing was i had to buy a new stand as legs were too far apart and would not fit on TV stand.

A nice, clean sounding TV. OK, I can't comment regarding picture quality because I am blind, but purchased this to replace an older sony bravia speaking TV. As this runs Google TV OS, the built in screen reader is a huge help. I can listen to content and interact with online content fairly easily, however, I'll state why I give 4 stars and not 5, because Sony is using outdated Google TV OS software which has a number of significant problems and changes which make using this a bit of a challenge. I am disappointed in Sony for this, a brand new 2025 model, using a TV OS that's 3 years old plus, it's daft.

My previous TV was 720p that I bought in 2008, so buying a 4K TV, the picture quality is a huge jump. Watching streaming channels now in 4K and i am in awe at the clarity and sharpness of the image. So easy to use and navigate the controls, i liked the inclusion of a second remote for my streaming channels. Like all the apps too.

The television was an upgrade from an insurance replacement. My "dead" TV was a 14 year old LG which was really good. The replacement LG offered was great and had many features but being a fan of Sony (phone, camera, headphones and speakers) I decided to pay for an upgrade to the Sony Bravia 3 and I'm very glad I did :-) There were more features on the Sony and the picture and sound quality are absolutely fantastic. I'm lucky to get Ultra HD channels on my home package so this makes the picture quality even better. There is a 5 year guarantee so Sony must have confidence in their product. I have been a fan of LG in the past but now I'm over to Sony :-)

The TV was set up for us by John Lewis. 4 days after set up we had to call an IT friend to assist. He informed up the soft ware was defective. We immediately called John Lewis who replaced the TV without a quibble. We did not buy another Sony!

Bought this tv to replace my Panasonic tv. I've had that brand before but the one I had last drove me insane with constant hanging which resulted in turning off at socket. I decided to try sony as I have other products of this brand. I was delighted to see how quick it is changing from online viewing or terrestrial tv. So much more efficient. The colour is also superb compared to previous. Very easy to setup. Very happy with purchase

I'm happy with the 43 inch TV but am disappointed that I cannot log onto Sony Core. I keep getting an error message despite having created an account. I've done the things advised online, rebooted it but to no avail and it's seems impossible to speak to someone for help.

Primary reason for buying a SONY tv was that it ran on android platform with Google play as its app store provider. Al lot of the apps that I looked for are "not available on this device" yet I have on my tablet & phone

Bought the Bravia 3 to replace an old Bravia 37" set. A revelation by comparison. It was easy to set up, picture quality is a vast improvement, I only hope that the same can be said when next watching my football team play in HD 4K!!

Bought this to replace an ageing JVC which after 10 years just stopped. The difference between the sets is day and night. The Sony has a really crisp and bright picture and excellent sound. I no longer have to use a sound bar with it. It is on the pricier end of the 43" QLED sets out there but you get what you pay for.

I did not want a new TV, but my 13 year old Sony 3D screen finally died. Sadly, 3D is no more.. Even though I could not have wished for a more helpful retailer than Richer Sounds, plus years of personal comsumer experience, I feel that it has not completely met my expectations. Using Blurays as my main source, the quality is superb, but standard streaming is not much of an improvement than my old TV. (even in 4k). Getting the display to look to my taste was not easy. I probably need longer to experiement, and I went thro' a period of orange faces and eye popping brilliance that seemed the change depending on whether the content was studio based or outside. I wish there was a way to select an 'opening' channel, as, using 'Alexa' to switch on, it defaults to the Cube, (last used position) and often the channel it finds after re-selectiing the input is standard BBCOne. I have to scroll thro' to find the 101 HD option. Using 'Favourites' might make this eaoier?

Big mistake buying a Sony TV. The support app is poor, requiring to reenter continuously the same data. The tv requires daily resets as it disconnects from wi-fi

I bought this two weeks ago and am really pleased with it. It took me a while to get a picture I was happy with but once set up it has been excellent. Just one query, why is the picture from my Freesat box via HDMI so much better than the picture from the tuner via my aerial?. The reception is perfect but the picture is not as sharp. Just wondering.

Moved house 2yrs ago & only now have we got round to renewing our 2010 model Sony Bravia and, due to its outstanding performance and performance, decided to purchase a 43" Sony Bravia 3. Setting it up was relatively easy but I wish they still supplied 'User Handbooks' for initial setup & reference.
