Really great tv. Picture quality is outstanding, especially on HDR. It took a bit of time to play with the comprehensive settings, watch FOMO with Sony Tech guy explaining the settings and what they do. Black levels are impressive, colour balance is very good and the sound it more than OK, even though I have full surround sound. Altogether a very impressive TV from Sony and at a fantastic price.

This Bravia 7 is hard to describe. It rplaces a a 12 year old Samsung. I thought there would be a big difference but this was huge! My whole family thinks the Bravia 7 was a gerat buy. The picture is great and the up scaling from DVD is very good.. Now I see a new blu-ray player in the near future. The Bravia is setup with a Yamaha sound bar (earc), after resetting the sound bar to factory settings it connected with out a glitch and the sound quality is excellent.

Sony factory saved cost at the expense of consumer. I bought two pieces of Sony Bravia 7 TV but it came with only 1.2m length of power cord, too short. I have to trashed these power cords and bought two pieces of 2meter length of power cords to replace those from factory, ending up more waste created, environmental not friendly and unsustainable. HDMI cable was not included with TV too. There is no user manual nor operation manual to show the external pushbuttons hidden below the front of the TV. There is no downloadable user manual nor operation manual for download. Only on line live manual is available for looking only. When loss of internet at home we just unable to look at the manual. Cost saving to expense of consumer and at inconvenience of consumers are not acceptable. I am still unable to obtain audio sound output to my Bose sound system through the TV optic cable connection to my existing Bose sound system. The Sony online manual just don't help.

Product looks decent but my experience with the Sony Shop is poor. Expected the upgraded swivel bracket to be from Sony but it was not disclosed that this just one of their 3rd party vendor they work with. The same bracket can be had for cheaper. I expected the the Sony direct shop to have boutique level experience but it looks like it's no different or even worse than one of their authorized dealers. 1. Doesn't allow extension of delivery due to unforseen renovation delays. To be fair, they did disclose they can keep up to 6 months and did offer an additional month but can't offer 1 additional month so we can guarantee the Reno is done. 2. 3rd party installer and 3rd party bracket not disclosed at Sony direct shop. 3. 3rd party vendor seem more concerned about the TV than Sony, the vendor even called the shop to appeal for an extension but Sony wants charge the cost to us for additional trip. Would not have not bought the TV from the shop. Would have gotten the TV from another dealer. I would have expected Sony direct to at least offer boutique level service but it turns out worse than their dealers.

The TV is wonderful. Amazing picture comma really good sound from the built-in speakers, beautiful build quality absolutely first class. My only complaint is not actually with Sony, it's with Rogers cable in Canada. They won't seem to allow the Sony remote to change the channels. It can do everything else, make fine adjustments of contrast, they just won't let it do the channels. They want you to use theirs. I wish Sony would use their might to put the boots to these guys, arguably The worst Internet and television service on planet Earth. And probably the most expensive. As far as TV goes, though, it's always been tough to beat Sony, and I think it still is.

Had this TV for 2 Weeks and am very disappointed in the audio. I have spent a lot of time trying to get it right. The audio level changes within a program and from program to program. The audio sound changed also, from a soft mushy to also sounding like the audio is coming through a pipe. I also purchased a Sony sound bar which does not help. The picture is great though!

I bought this Sony BR7 mini Led TV a month ago. Everything seems good, color and picture accuracy is good except the angle viewing is not good compare with my previous Panasonic plasma TV. The view from side angle is not acceptable for such a premium price TV.

I've had 75" Bravia 7 for almost 2 months and it has been absolutely stunning. The best TV I've ever owned. I worked in television production for a local PBS station and I know what good television images are supposed to look like. This is it. Beautiful 4 k video and excellent upscaling of standard definition video also. I couldn't be happier!

Google TV is a blasphemy! It's a trap into a vendor controlled ecosystem that doesn't let you use a product you paid for like you want to use it. The build quality is so bad that even the repair technician landed up cracking the back cover. Sony partners with Best Buy as it does with many other retailers to sell their products. Best Buy is running a scam by selling insurance in addition but throws customers at the OEM for issues with the product. Sony takes months to log a case, attempt a repair, identify a technician, deliver a replacement part, realize they are selling lemon devices and reluctantly agree to replace the appliance. The whole episode takes your TV away from you for a good couple of months. Such a criminal waste - I wish someone slaps these buys in their face with a filthy shoe so they know how it feels to be treated like this after paying them 000s. They can't get anything done!

Purchasing a Sony product through the Sony website has been my worst experience as a customer. From the first day after receiving a 65" BRAVIA 7 (model: K-65XR70) that I bought for my mom, the TV had trouble turning on. The blue power light would blink when I pressed the remote, but the screen would remain completely black. Every time I wanted to turn on the TV it took me several attempts and minutes. Then, late at night, the TV would turn on and off by itself. The TV was not programmed to do any of these things, nor was there anything connected to it. I called Sony on Thursday, January 16, 2025, just a few days after receiving the TV, to explain the situation and arrange an exchange for a new TV. After performing several tests, the technician determined that the TV was not working properly and told me to wait for a call from Sony. I let him know that I was no longer happy with that TV and wanted to pay the difference out of my own pocket to receive a 65" BRAVIA 8 instead of the same model. The next day (Friday) early in the morning I received an email asking me to take several photos of the TV with these specific requirements: 1. Model/Serial # on the back of the TV showing both the entire model number and entire serial number. If the TV is wall mounted and the model and serial numbers are not accessible; a picture of the settings screen showing the model and serial numbers is acceptable. 2. Direct full view of the front of the TV showing the entire TV frame including the 4 corners of the TV. 3. Close up of the issue. I took the photos as requested and uploaded them to the Sony website at the link in the email. The same day (Friday) I received a call from Sony at 9:47 AM saying that everything was approved and they told me to wait for another call which would not take more than 24 hours. Once again I let them know that I was no longer happy with that TV and wanted to pay the difference out of my own pocket to receive a 65" BRAVIA 8 instead of the same model. I asked if it wouldn't be better to cancel the purchase of the 65" BRAVIA 7 and just buy the 65" BRAVIA 8 from the Sony website. I was told not to cancel the order and that there would be no problem paying the difference to receive the 65" BRAVIA 8. I never got that call they promised me. I called Sony again the next day (Saturday) at 10:37 AM. I asked to pay the difference out of my own pocket to receive a 65" BRAVIA 8 instead of the same model. I was again told to wait for a call and if I did not receive a call from the Sony team to call back after 3:00 PM that same day. I also did not receive the call that was promised to me and had to call back after 3:00 p.m. I waited over 30 minutes for someone to answer my call. At 3:52 p.m. I finally spoke to an employee and he transferred my call to the sales department at 4:10 p.m. I told them both that I would pay the difference out of my own pocket to receive a 65" BRAVIA 8 instead of the same model. After speaking to the sales department employee, I was transferred to another employee from a different department at 4:20 p.m. I also told this employee that I would pay the difference out of my own pocket to receive a 65" BRAVIA 8 instead of the same model. Around 5:00 PM that employee gave me the name of the person in charge of my case and told me to expect a call from that person on Monday. That Monday was Presidents' Day. The person in charge of my case did not call me that day or any other day. The person in charge of my case emailed me on Tuesday at 2:38 PM saying: "I wanted to quickly follow up before we move forward with your case to ask if you've received any further assistance from our technical support team or if this matter still needs our attention." On Wednesday, the day before the one week mark of my first call, I called the person in charge of my case around 12:23 p.m. The employee told me that he didn't know about my case, but how can someone explain that I already knew that he was in charge of my case since Saturday? When I asked him to pay the difference out of my own pocket to receive a 65" BRAVIA 8 instead of the same model, he told me that I would have to cancel the order first and wait for Sony to receive the TV and then purchase the 65" BRAVIA 8. Why didn't Sony inform me earlier after I told them I wanted to buy the BRAVIA 8 on every call? My mom got rid of her old TV since the new one arrived. I ended up cancelling the order for the TV and am still waiting for them to contact me to pick up the TV and put the money in my account to purchase a non-Sony TV. For those who have had the patience to read my review and are getting tired of just reading it, imagine what I've been through and it's not over yet. Also, keep in mind that this is a condensed version of my experience with Sony. I will never get back the amount of hours and days I have wasted with Sony. I find it difficult to explain how bad my mother and I have been made to feel for no reason.

I took delivery of my K85XR70 on 12/21 and had multiple issues immediately, including brightness settings and audio delays when viewing Blue-ray and 4K movies (using a Sony Ultra High Blu-ray player). I previously owned a 75" Bravia, purchased in 2015 along with a Denon AVR 1200, and had none of the these issues. (Since the new Bravia had a e/ARC port I decided to purchase a new Denon1800 to see if that would resolve my issues- it didn't!) Past experiences with Sony Service personnel were very helpful so I phoned and received a Case # on 12/22/24. Unfortunately, the level of service was subpar and one of the Agents actually disconnected me after I questioned their advice and never phoned me back. I called again and received another Case # on 12/30/24 regarding the reoccurring audio latency with my 4K videos and was told it was due to a "buffering issue with my router"! When I responded that that it did not make sense I was disconnected once again! No return calls were made to me and I am now considering returning this TV to the store and purchasing a Samsung unit in its stead. Very disappointed!
