Picture is great but all white / light scenes seems to have 5 white areas in both upper corners. I am not sure if this is in spec but still is disappointing.

Great pic. and following the install to a cable box was easy and simple. Only problem I had was using the item that came with the tv.

Overall, the TV works just fine. The picture is great, except when the screen is blank (white) or the camera is panning across a light background color. Take a look at the attached photo of a blank screen. It illustrates vertical banding. The dark areas indicate inadequate backlighting. Most of the time, you won't notice it because the video present masks it. The only way that you can get rid of the problem is to exchange the set for a model that doesn't exhibit the problem, namely a more expensive 4k model with full-array backlighting. The 70" model is even worse as it may exhibit radial banding. We have had this TV for a month now. We have been Sony products fans for a long time. We have had cellphones, laptops, digital cameras, all-in-one desktop and off course, televisions, We were never disappointed by any one of them and this one has not given us any issue that we want to complain about. It has been humming flawlessly right out of the box since the first day. The 3D feature is wonderful. It came with so many apps catering to most people's needs and interests. Our problem is that there aren't that many 3D movies out there in the market. We bought this TV from a Sony Authorized electronics store at a great price.

I wanted a big screen 3D HDTV; looked at LG, Sharp, Samsung, and Vizeo. Sony simply had the best picture in what I was looking for. Outstanding really. My only regret - I didn't get their 70" screen !

Ordered TV from Sony and first received was damaged in shipping. Sent back to Sony and second sent to us was in perfect condition. Every thing on TV works great, and resolution is perfect. Great product.

On of the reasons I would give it a 4 star and not a 5 star is because of the color adjustment. It takes forever to adjust the color to look right. With out Yellow it is very hard to get a true color adjustment. Everything has a red tint or green tint. The Blue helps but not enough. Also it changes color every time you change the channel and has to be readjusted again. And some times right in the middle of watching some thing it needs to be adjusted. It has taken me 3 weeks to get it to where it is the same on all the time but I am not there yet. I had a Sony about 5 years ago for 3 says and took it back because of this. I was assured this problem was fixed. My wife and friends told me to take it back. Once it is set the picture is very sharp and it is a great tv. The apps are fast and work better than any thing I have. The 3D is OK but not great.

We are enjoying our new Sony TV...beautiful color. The only disappointment is that a Sony/DirectTv flyer was included inside the box and DirectTv did not honor the offer. We consider that false advertisement.

This Sony TV is great. The only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I think Sony can improve on the TV's stand. Otherwise, the picture is great. I've only had this TV for 2 months, but hoping to get enjoyment from this TV for a long time.

The picture has great quality and I love the options of having Netflix, Amazon prime and other internet feeds directly accessed from my TV. Netflix does not load during a movie as did an internet 'ready DVD player. The accessing and loading prior to a movie starting is fast. I am very pleased with My purchase.

Great TV, awesome color balance, looks great in daylight, we have huge light filled living room, and night time. But my favorite is the sound. Great speaker means I don't have to turn on home theater all the time. Just football and movies. Also love all the apps the come along with it. Love this!

Bought this tv after an expected loss of my last tv. I love the wedge shape design of this tv, its stable, sturdy, and overall has great structure. The tv has excellent image in my bright living room, the matte finish helps keep glare and reflections to a minimum. The colors and black levels are solid. The more I watch this tv, the more I love it. Great purchase, would definitely buy it all over again.

I originaly purchased a Sharp - AQUOS Q Series - 60" but the picture was not all that good, I was supprised with 4K ability. Also it could not add additional applications such as Amazon Prime movies. So I switched to the Sony W850B and WOW what a great picture, better than I'v seen in any 60 inch TV. Very good audio especially attached to my stereo system. Very easy to use remote and easy TV setup and configuration. The unit is slim doesn't even get warm, unlike my old Toshiba. I love this TV...............

So far, excellent. The remote takes a bit of getting used to. The two concentric ring buttons are too close and cause some confusion. I've had a 40" Sony Bravia for about 8 1/2 years with never a single problem. That's why, when we decided we needed 60 inches, we went Sony.
