This lens is pretty awesome so far. Sharp and the autofocus is surprisingly fast considering a lot of lenses at this focal length can be up to three times more expensive. I?m very satisfied!

I have a friend that owned this lens for almost a year. I tried it once and liked it. So once I could afford to add to my kit, I did. I’m not sure I would do it over again. I tend to shoot closer to subjects than this 127mm field of view allows. You need lots of space. It does perform well, is a great price and produces nice images. But I am considering contacting Adorama about swapping it for another focal length, like the XF 23mm f2.0

I recall the uncomfortable price swallowing experience buying Sony’s 24-70G with my a7III. Since, I have sought compliment to e mount collection in less pricey but great quality lenses. This Viltrox 85 1.8 fills the bill, utilizing all of the camera’s tech, yielding creamy low light performance in every category @ less than one third the price of others. I’m hoping Viltrox has more in store for the FE market. I’m extremely satisfied with this lens purchase. Purchased thru Adorama/eBay for $ under the popular price. ????????

This lens is very sharp. The autofocus is reasonably quick, but not as accurate as native Fujinon lenses. It is quite large and heavy, but balances very well on the XT and XH bodies.

It’s fast on AF and sharp as a $1000 lens.
