I have used this particular earbud for perhaps more than 10 years, in between those years I have tried other brand like Koss, Panasonic, Apple, JVC, RCA, Phillip, and lots of other named or unnamed brands, and finally I have this to say to all earbud users; You will find no other earbud headphones that can equal this device in audio quality in this price range (15$) or even beyond. I hope Sony will keep making this earbud available for a long time in the future. My only complaint is it becomes increasingly hard to find in retail stores. Why do I have to order it from Sony store this time to use it? An exceptionally good device like this should be widely available for consumers everywhere, it'll good for the Sony brand as well , Sony needs it.

Great headphones, will buy them again. I bought like 20pr and they aren't for resale, they are for my personal use

These are the best performing earphones I have ever purchased for the price, and my only complaint is the cord is literally only 5mm too small for me but overall 5 stars for sound and lifespan (2 years and running).

This is the best kept secret by Sony. I've been using these and it's derivatives for years now, but they're hard to find sometimes because the big box stores all carry the new in-ear style. The sound is amazing, the price can't be beat, and I love the short cord. These are great for people with big ear canals like me - they stay put. Always recommend keeping extra foam covers nearby though, you need them.

My Zune headphones had recently broken so i had gone on the search for a new pair. I bought a pair of Koss The Plug headphones and another in ear pair from Koss., but they sounded dreadful. My brother has a pair of MDR-E10LP and they sounded much much better. I own a pair of MDR-V6's and they are the best sounding headphones I have ever had the pleasure to own, so i decided to get a pair. I went looking on this website and found the MDR-E818LP headphones, they had better specifications and looked nicer so i went with those. I should have known that Sony products would overcome all else. You guys just earned a life long Sony fan. Fantastic work.

The Sony MDR-E818LP earbud headphones feature high-quality 16mm driver units and neodymium magnets for powerful bass and clear treble sound. Acoustic Twin Turbo circuit uses sound chamber and ducts for improved efficiency and super light in-ear design fits snuggly yet comfortably. Enjoy your music while exercising, skating or dancing with the MDR-E818LP headphones.
