Sony MDR-ED12LP Bud Style Headphones with Deep Bass Response, Red

If you're that guy looking for headphones that don't isolate sound (because sometimes you actually want to be aware of you surroundings) and you don't want to sacrifice too much sound quality, these are the headphones for you. The bass is present but doesn't stand out much. Sometimes I put my iPhone on bass booster because of this. The bass is also a little too tight. If you are in a quiet place (like a classroom at school) I wouldn't turn up the volume because the sound leaks and people will hear your music. If you're looking for sound quality get in ear headphones. Open air headphones (like these) simply do not compare to in ear headphones. I have compared these to other open air headphones (like Apple's new headphones and even Bose!) and the sound is noticeably better. I have yet to find better sounding open air headphones.

These are the best. I have purchased 20+ different headsets and earbuds trying to get something that will stay in my ears while mountain biking AND still sound good. These are the ones. You can pay more, but there is no need; just buy these.

I have always hated earbuds because they've always fit awkwardly in my ears, causing pain and irritation. They also tend to have horrible sound quality. However, I bought a pair of these so I could listen to music while I worked (my job at the time required spending long overnight hours in an empty building). I've had them in for many hours at a time and never experienced any discomfort. Plus, the sound quality is amazing for earbuds. My first pair wore out after continuous use while I was at work and I ordered a second one. As long as these are available, they will be the only earbuds I use.

These are great headphones and extremely comfortable. Sound quality is above average headphones and the bass magnet really does work. Shipped on time too!

This is a really good earphone that one could find in its price range. this particular earphone even strips off the XB Series earphones. But one big problem is that after prolonged use your ears will start to ache mainly because of the 16mm audio driver which makes the size of the earphone big. This is a must buy for budget buyers who likes a lot of bass

These earphones are amazing! i had Beats by Dre a little while ago and these headphones can almost match the sound quality! for a quarter of the price! I recommend this earphones to anybody who listens to music with a lot of bass.

These things are great! The sound I get from these is amazing, I literally can't hear anything around me or even myself talking. They're comparable to my skull candy G.I.s and Bose in ear, both of which are $40+. for the price I don't think these can be beat. The only thing i would have to say about these that's a flaw would be the fact the cord seems a bit flimsy/weak, it hasn't been a problem so far though!

I owned a ED12LP for almost a year now. I was blown away by the sound quality that I was getting at such a low cost. It really gives a BANG for your buck. My only complaint is if Sony could make the cord a bit more sturdy. I just pulled my cord yesterday and the left plug stopped working. I missed my headphones so much, I went online an ordered the same pair within the hour. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for really good sound quality at almost no cost!

I love these earbuds. Great sound, and the most comfortable pair I have ever owned. I got my first pair at Walmart. Went back for more after I wore the first ones out (after about SIX MONTHS of daily use) and Walmart discontinued them! Thank goodness I found them here!

I was looking for a decent set of headphones for gaming with my PSP and DSi, as well as for movies and music on my Zen Vision W. I was very impressed by these. I've never been much of an earbud fan at all. Usually, bass reproduction is horrendous at best, and I find they tend not to stay in my ears for whatever reason. I needed these for travel mostly, since over the ear phones can get be awkward on the plane and are a lot more difficult to store. I picked these up on a whim. The price was extremely attractive, so I figured I would try these before moving on to the high dollar models. I was hoping the large driver would better reproduce bass than what I am accustomed to in an earbud. I was right. I found these to be exactly what I was looking for. I was wary of the bud design, but it fits perfectly, and is quite comfortable. They also stay in surprisingly well. I imagine at some point I'll move up to one of the higher end models, as I would like a noise canceling set. But for under 20 dollars, you really can't beat these at all.
