Sony MDR-EX15LP In-Ear Headphones, 9mm Drivers, Violet

Bought four pairs. After 9 weeks, the left earbud output diminished 90+%. Same thing happened to the second pair after just 6 weeks. At this rate I will need to buy more very soon, but it won't be these. I think the angled jack is the issue?..

Bought 4 of these. The sound quality was very good, but the first one lasted 9 weeks before its left earbud failed. The second set lasted only 6 weeks before the same thing happened. Two down and two to go?.at this rate I will be looking for new earbuds soon. They won't be these. Pretty sure it's the angled jacks that are the issue.

Goods: They?re great headphones, but only because of how much of a bargain they are. They come with simple (but somewhat annoying packaging) and different earbud sizes which is good. Bads I?ve had them before and they stop working after a while so I hope it doesn?t happen with this one. You can hear a lot of noise from the wires when you move around with the earphones in your ear which is annoying. There?s no microphone or volume/play/pause etc buttons. I?d recommend these overall if you?re not looking for anything amazing and have a budget to maintain.

I'm honestly amazed by how good these earbuds are. For $10 earbuds, they have really good sound quality and bass and the 8-22k Hz response, and they haven't yet broken or showed any signs of deterioration even after weeks of being spun, stretched, blasted way louder than necessary, and even repeatedly exposed to high humidity or subzero temperatures. very impressive

I bought these about a month ago, they sit in my ear perfectly and the sound is very clear with precision. The bass is also very good.

I bought those in Japan after getting frustrated over my bluetooth headphones. Those are the best. I wish I had taken the ones with a microphone, and that the material was a bit more soft (especially the wiring covers), those or sturdy, durable, performing, simple to use. I also wish you would make a USB-C and a lightning version so that I could buy new ones for my iPad and my iPhone.

The sound is so perfect for its price and they are lightweight too. For me, it's Sony's signature sound that makes me feel happy as if I'm on a holiday at the beach. Sony is my childhood brand that still comforts me even on challenging times. Thank you and keep moving forward, Sony!

I’ve had them for about 2 years now and I’ve used them with my laptop and phone, but about a month after I got them, I got a pair of wh1000xm3s, so they don’t see too much usage, I usually wear them when the headphones take up too much space and compared to the headphones, the sound is a little airy if that makes any sense and the bass isn’t as heavy but otherwise they make a good alternative and replacement if the headphones die.

They are just fantastic earbuds. Keeping the price in mind they are very well rounded. Fairly durable with great sound clarity. It ticks all the boxes for noise isolation, sonic profile, size, comfortably, durability and cost. Also very comfortable to sleep with. These earbuds are easy worth 2 or 3 times it's price. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

My beatsX broke during my flight to NYC, so I bought them from the duty free shop before transiting to my destination. Didn't have much expectation, just needed a quick replacement. HOWEVER, they sound A LOT better than my beats. It worth more than the price I paid. Highly recommended for a quick replacement (like studying in library). They are really good!

Sound produced definitely can't compete with higher end earphones with better soundstage, bombastic bass, clarity and sound quality (compared to Audio Technica M50x, Bose Soundsport, Shure 315). However MDR-EX15 plays decent bass, decent clarity, and decent sound quality. For the RM30 price, no other earphones can compete with this model. I have been using and abusing this earphones for almost 2 years now, it is still working fine. I am highly satisfied.

I bought these when my more expensive, with microphone headphones stopped working with my android phone when it last updated. It was something to do with the mic so i got these which don't have a mic. They are cheap, but not terrible. They are comfortable to wear and I wear them running. I have accidentally put these through the washing machine not once, but twice, and they are still going. So thats not a bad thing!

I’ve had quite a few of these throughout my life and they are great if you are looking for a great cost benefit. They have a good sound quality and because they are not boosted in any specific aspect of sound, they are very versatile and can be surprising if you mess around with the equalization on your device. The design might be good, slick and discreet but because of the cable’s thinness and overall format, they can be really fragile against tension and knots, which you get a lot if you just throw them around or stuff them in your pocket without much care. Pro tip here is that regardless of it’s price you should take good care of these to get the most out of them. P.s: It’s the ideal pair of headphones for temporary use or if you have another for a more “professional” use and enjoyment of music.

I brought this in Argos for on sale around a month ago as a replacement to other Sony Headphones I mislaid - They are fine for the price however I find them not very loud and quite tinny as in not much bass as one would expect. I just dont understand. The specs say "8hz" is the lower margin of the sound its capable of reproducting. That may be truth although its not very clear. I listen to electronic music and know the best parts of the songs in my playlist. With this junk there is no pleasure with the bassdrop. :/ Would not recommend event to my worst enemy.
