I dont think any of these reviews do these headphones justice. Ive had a couple different headphones now but nothing compares to these. Ive used skullcandys and have been in search of music quality for a while now. I recently had the Skullcandy lowriders and they had really good sound quality but as they are over ear headphones they have room to make the sound quality better but then they suddenly broke. So I saw these for a replacement and I was amazed. For something so small it delivers amazing sound quality. I can clearly hear everything in the music. I listen to the rougher side of music of death metal, power metal, and viking metal. With the skullcandy I could barely hear the drums or or the vocals but with these it has unlocked the vocals and the drums and more. I can clearly hear everything of both worlds. It has the perfect balance of both lows, mediums, and highs. Also skullcandy headphones have a range of 20-20k hz and these are 6-23k hz. What does it matter you may ask. It really does make all of the difference since you can hear a lot more in your music. I would definitely recommend these to my friends.

These earbuds are nice, have great sound quality, great bass. The problem is that the left one broke after 1 day of use!!! If your even thinking about buying, RETHINK NOW. They will probably break quickly like mine did and i didnt even have them for a full 24hrs before one stopped working!!.

I'm so fed up with this product I registered an account just to blast them. These earbuds are deceptively decent -- they look good, sound good, don't hurt your ears when you wear them for awhile. But no matter how gently you handle them, one side will always stop working within six months. I've had it happen four times now, across multiple models. Most recently I splurged $40 on a higher-end pair (MDR-EX38), figuring the higher price would buy some better build quality. Not so. These broke after less than one month. So while I love the fit and am pleased by the audio quality, I'm tired of throwing my money away on disposable headphones. Avoid.

These sounded really good, but just like many other people with these headphones, one of the buds will stop working. very disappointed.

I bought these headphones to replace a similar set (made by another brand) that I had lost. I used the headphones primarily with my iPod during activities like grocery shopping; nothing particularly vigorous. In less than seven days, the left earbud stopped working altogether. Unfortunately for me, I purchased these poor quality/defective headphones from a large retail chain for over $30. What a waste and a disappointment! Save yourself the money and annoyance and get your headphones elsewhere!! p.s. I rated the performance at 4 stars only because, when they did work, they sounded great.

I usually buy whatever $5-10 headphones I can find because I just don't really care as long as I can hear my music. After going through about three cheap, terrible headphones in a short amount of time I was going to buy ones that were a name brand, a little more expensive, and a little more reliable. In Sony's defense, these headphones look great, are super comfortable, don't fall out when working out, and the sound is amazing...until it breaks!!! I listen to just one headphone when I'm at work and today I put in the right earbud to hear no sound. I putzed with the volume and the song, thinking I had broken my mp3 player somehow, until I realized that sound was coming out of the left earbud, not the right. I've had this happen to me before but I can always physically see a break in the cord or something unusual. There is nothing. I've had these less than a week. It's not a complete loss because I can listen with the left earbud when I'm at work, but what am I supposed to do when I'm at the gym or another loud place that I need both earbuds? I wouldn't suggest these unless you have no problem throwing away $20.

I was captivated by these vivid Earbuds the moment I saw them, so I ordered some. Well, here's my Official Review ~ I was more impressed by these Earbud's design than their performance. The Bass is a little too persistent for me, and it drowned out the Treble. But the Hybrid Silicone Ear Cushions are very comfortable and they seal out an astounding majority of external noise. Unfortunately, if you want your Ear Cushions to match colors you're out of luck. The 3 sizes of Ear Cushions that come with these Headphones are matched together as 1 Blue and 1 Red for each size. What sets these Earbuds apart from Skullcandy's and other brand-name low price Earbuds is a nice Elbowed Plug which, as any Headphone Fanatic knows, decreases the chances of getting a shorted wire. That, and the rather nice Hybrid Silicone Ear Cushions(which I personally believe to be the main Pro of these Earbuds). Final Say - These Earbuds have THE NICEST Ear Cushions of any $40 and lower Headphones. They've got great Noise Reduction(thanks to those HSECs) and a decent overall sound quality. The Vivid Y-Type cord and High-Quality HSECs (that come in Vibrant colors as well) are well worth the $20(or thereabouts) that you'll spend on these Earbuds.

The Sony MDR-EX35LP/BR EX Style Earbud Headphones are powered by a 9mm driver so you'll experience deep bass and clear treble sound. The in-ear design fits snugly, yet comfortably inside your ear while three sizes of hybrid ear cushions provide a perfect fit and maximum comfort for hours on end. These earbuds also come with a Y-type cord and cord adjuster.
