Just wonderful
Don't get me wrong. These headphones are perfect! I got them as an option with my stereo and they work great! Couldn't detect a single flaw. Even the cord is long enough for the standard user. I've found them perfect so far and do not have any complaints. Thanks for the cheap yet great product Sony!

Good sound, but cheap plastic
I bought these for everyday listening. I use them while on the treadmill. The sound quality is good. About 6 months after I bought them the left side swivel broke. It's just a piece of plastic. Now the phones don't stay on my head :-(

Basically read the pros because in the 7 months I've had these, they have been extremely worthwhile. I'm a teenager, therefore comfort, clarity, and durability is important. These headphones are seriously comfortable and the sound is amazingly clear. The bass is beautiful. Durability wise, I've probably thrown them around more than I should and they've held up amazingly. The only reason I'm retiring these is I accidentally slammed the jack into the car door (not advisable). I'm getting the same pair as soon as possible though. They're reasonably priced; I mean, come on, thirty bucks is affordable and the product is completely worth it.

too much bass and clarity is very poor. all music sounds as if were recorded in monaural. very poor quality sound.i watched part of a movie with them and the sound was so distorted , i turned it off.

Sony MDR-V250V Studio Monitor Headphones
For the money this is a great set of cans. Sony builds the best sounding audio cans on the market today. FoRGET Dr Dre's Beats! Thats all you get is BEAT! I bought these cans for the shop, because they are inexpensive, sound good and if they get beat up, who cares?! There are no "cons" here, only "Pros". When you buy low you get low. When you buy the SONY MDR-SA500's, you get all the sound the artist has produced, right to your ears, without the ticket price or standing in lines. Buy a SONY, NOT BALONEY!! Don't get beat. Forget about the "Beats"! Good style, "ain't good sound"!
