Sony MDR-W08L Over the Head Vertical In-the-Ear Stereo Headphones

I have bought these head phone for several years. I have a smaller that average head so ear buds don't work.(even the small ones)Plus at work we can't cancel out all noise as it is a saftey hazard. So these fit almost perfect on my head and alow me to listen to music in both ears without drowning out all the noise around me. They are not expensive but definatly do the trick.

These have been my go-to headphones for working out for the last 10 years or so, and I use them 6-7 times per week for 1-2 hours. I dislike in-ear buds, so these are perfect for lifting weights and running. They're lightweight, stay put, have perfect cable length for armband mp3 player, and sound great. Unfortunately, they're not very durable at all. One or both speakers stop working after about 6 months of regular use; I imagine from the sweat. They're not designed to be sweat resistant: no membrane, and the shape pretty much directs sweat right into the speaker and your ear. For the price they're still a good value; I just consider them "disposable", and buy 2-3 at a time on Amazon to get the free shipping.

I am impressed that the Sony Website saved me so much time and gasoline trying to find the product I wanted. After my dog chewed up my Sony headset which I had for about 3 years, I was devastated. It was the only headset I like and doesn't hurt my ears. It was also the only headset that would stay in my ears and had excellent quality. I have been looking in the stores but could not find the same headset. I went to the Sony Website, found the product in seconds and at a better price. I then ordered on my credit card and BOOM. I received an email saying it was shipped and on its way. Thank you so much for having a user friendly website and such fast and great service. Now if I could just find a good Dog. Robin L. Schwarz.

I have been wearing these earphones for many years and I have never found another brand or type that I like. I cannot wear earbuds that come with my IPod, so these are the next best thing. Never have had a problem with them breaking or losing sound quality. I can barely feel them when they are on - I love these earphones!

These are great headphones when they work. This is at least my 10th pair over the last 10 years because one of the earphones always quit working after 6 months to a year of use.

I am currently purchasing my 4th pair of these SONY headphones. They are perfect for running, since they don't fall out of your ears or cause sore ears (as some in-ear phones do). And they are lightweight. My only complaint is that they wear out very quickly. I've had my current pair less than a year and already have to buy new ones.

For the value these headphones put out great sound. I used them for my MP3 player and for my work computer. I had mine for about 2yrs before I had to replace them with a new set and I plan on purchasing them again.

I did like these headphones but got disappointed because the left ear-phone always goes out in 2 mounths. I would think Sony would have better products then this..
