It looks extremely awesome and is really comfortable. The sound is good and the wire is strong and can bear strains. The best part is that the wire doesn't get entangled that easily.

Tried them at a local retailer and I new I had to have them. Really impressed with their sound. One thing I really like about them is that they give a sound no other headphones give when watching a music video of listening to music with no enhancements. Best buy!

I have had these headphones 3 weeks now and they just seem to get better each day. The extra base does not compromise the treble which make these as good as the Bose my son has!!

I would have expected to pay over £150 for this quality of sound. Great clarity and when run in and tuned up with my amp, the quality of these headphones goes through the roof! Bass is deep but not muffled, and treble and customised set up, and you have a set up to rival most. Without software they still perform amazingly well, but keep the volume no more than half to run in and you will be rewarded.

I got these on eBay for a very good price, and honestly these are simply amazing. I'm listening to them as I write this, I haven't even broken them in yet and they sound good. I am an XB series virgin and am amazed, when it comes time to upgrade I will go with the XB800 model. (go with the most expensive one you can afford) I tested this with my headphone jack (Realtek HD, ALC269 audio codec with MaxxAudio) as well as with a Steel-Series 5H USB sound card (as the headphone jack is partially broken and requires fiddling to get it to work correctly) with and without a FiiO E6 amplifier on the red LED bass boost setting. My findings were very appealing and this should make some of the pickiest bass-heads satisfied. This doesn't provide ear-ticking bass like I like but it is definitely superior at bringing out the bass. The design is genius and Sony deserves recognition for that, it is even better than Audio-Technica's WS55 design, and it provides more bass, for significantly less. There is one flaw in the design though, and that adds reverberation to the vocals, which is unappealing but only noticed at high bass levels, this is why I would recommend a more expensive pair if you can afford it as the larger driver size should fix this. Nonetheless this is better than the other headphones that I have tried and will not disappoint. I highly recommend an amplifier if you're looking for very heavy bass as it will only boost the potential. Another thing I should bring up is at high-maximum volumes the driver cannot handle bass levels, and you can hear it struggle, but this does provide excellent amounts of bass at mid-high volumes. the overall sound quality is great, but not as good as my Harman/Kardon laptop speakers. These are not made for people who are looking for a balanced high fidelity sound so that shouldn't matter. There is a noticeable difference between the 30mm drivers on these and 40mm drivers on other headphones but not too much of a difference, the lower driver size does sacrifice a slight bit of sound quality but they still do well for the smaller size. These headphones are comfortable, they have the perfect amount of clamping and create a nice seal that was able to drown out the noise of my TV even above 30 volume. The ear-cups are have a nice thin layer of leatherette and a nice amount of light cushioning. The plastic headband doesn't have padding (obviously) but that doesn't make me uncomfortable. The build quality is good, although the headband should be made thicker to avoid breakage. Bottom line, I would recommend this to anyone, but if you can afford the more expensive models I would recommend buying those. Shop round for the best price, you can find better prices elsewhere.

These are great! I use to have beats and these compare greatly! I purchased them for a huge discount and couldn't be happier. I have a larger head and when I first put them on they hurt slabs. But I put them around the biggest part of my thigh for 10 minutes and they now fit perfectly. They don't really get sweaty. Excuse the cruddy quality picture, iPads were not made for taking pictures.

Good bass, but I ordered the IP (iphone) version that includes sound controls in the cord very much like iBuds. So I had to return these and once I get my refund I'll get the IP's

Let's start off with one thing. When I say easily damaged, I mean it gets minor scuffs easily, such as when you scrape your finger nail on it. Easily wiped off. Prior to owning these, I had some Phillips headphones. Best ones I ever had. They were designed similar to these, except the middle was set in the headphones, not all level, like these. That caused INSANE pain in my ears. Due to the fact that these headphones are all flat on contact points with the ear, it takes a long time to start hurting minorly. They ain't lying about the bass. I used my old Phillips after getting these to test it, and boy, those sounded FLAT. These are stylish, have enough bass to enhance sound yet not distort it, and it's completely stylish. Get it now. That's my suggestion.

The headphones are really good. They are very light and comfortable, I can use it for hours without any problem at all. The design is ok and looks great. The materials are very good when you touch, and the construction is over the average. The mids and the highs are ok, but, the headphones really shines is when you hear the deep and clear bass in your music. I really recommend it. Really good headphones for a really good price.
