I've had these headphones for 7 years now and they still sound absolutely amazing. The only issue I'm having right now and I'm hoping Sony will help me with it is my left earpiece has gotten. It's something's broken in it and it's gotten loose so it doesn't secure to my head.

After going through several sets of headphones from other well know makers of headphones...The XB950B1's represent the build quality and reliability that I have come to expect only from Sony.

I got a pair in 2017 as a gift. I truly fell in love with the ease, comfort and sound of these headphones. I always kept them in their original box and only used them when we traveled or while at my computer. Sadly, about a month ago, the plastic on the ear broke on one side of the harness. I was heart broke. I was disappointed in that this plastic simply broke. I then learned it would cost the same money to fix them as my wife paid when they were new. I love these so much I relented and bought a new pair. This time I purchased a 3 year warranty. I have to say, these headphones were awesome. I just wish they harness was made to be more sturdy.

So I have a defective unit - it happens. Still a great set of headphones for the price I paid. I bought these 3 months ago at The Source. They work fine as wireless headphones. They could be a bit richer in sound quality and block out more noise but that's not the issue. The issue is that the unit I have has a defective 3.5mm jack aux input. Only the right ear outputs sound. I have interchanged the wire with multiple to ensure this is not a wire issue. The input isn't tight and appears too loose when plugging and unplugging the aux jack. The real pain has been the time I lost on registering a product online, calling support and dealing with the lack of a 3.5mm jack. Again, wirelessly they work fine, however on an airplane I need to plug them in. I fly often and I don't have enough time at home to wait 7 business days to get new ones. I'm waiting on Sony support to contact me back this week to see what can be done under warranty. I know the issue will eventually be regulated, fixed or replaced. All this being said. The Bluetooth works great, connects fast, power and pairing and volume controls are simple and can use easily, the app connection is simple, they are comfortable to wear several hours. The natural sound quality needs to drop the mid tones. The app has presets for audio adjustments, however I would like to be able to tune them myself. Adjust Bass, Mid and Treble is all that needs to be updated on the Sony app for audio presets.

Just bought this unit & already love it. These headsets outdo my old Skullcandy pair easily. I like alot of bass with my music & these headphones satisfy my needs. Would definitely recommend of you like bass

These headphones are horrible. I rarely used them, maybe about once a week at most and they did not even last me three months before the left earphone broke off. The exact same thing happend to my brother's headphones a couple weeks back and he's had his for over a year. These headphones should come with a case to protect them. These are way too expensive for them not to last or be protected with a case when not in use. Total waste of money, the store would not let me return/exchange them, not even get store credit. I purchased these on Black Friday and did not even take out of the package until Mid January. The broke in early March.

Bought a little over 6 months ago, great headphones and sound quality. but they snapped without warning or reason, not covered by warranty according to sony phone operator, and when the reffered me to a third party repair shop it was going to cost over $100, plus shipping there and back to get them fixed.

I've had these headphones for 7 months and while listening to music one side just fell off. I didn't abuse my headphones just from normal wear. It appears where they twist is a defective plastic piece. I wouldn't suggest buying these as they are not well made.
