The essence of Plug-N-Play

Since specs said Vista compatable I thought most Vista devices have been working with Windows 7 Home Edition, I bought this reader to transfer data from my laptop to my desktop. Lap top is Win 7 and desktop is Windows XP. My old Sandisk 12-n-1 reader couldn't read the SDHC cards. I downloaded a Microsoft HotFix to allow the XP computer to read above 8GB cards. It works remarkedly well. Good job, SONY!

Vista

This card reader works fine with my old computer and Windows XP. Despite what the Sony web page says, mine does not work with Vista.
