An advanced and sophisticated piece of equipment, the MSU-3500 Master Setup Unit Half Rack Multi Camera Remote Control Panel, Vertical, is designed to provide intuitive control and maintenance for Sony HDC series system cameras. This high-quality product shares the same compact vertical form factor and familiar ergonomics as the MSU-1500, fitting perfectly into a 9.5-inch EIA rack (half rack mount size). The MSU-3500 is capable of controlling multiple camera systems via a 1000Base-T LAN or a single camera through a direct peer-to-peer connection using a Sony CCA cable. This user-friendly device boasts a new touch panel with enhanced visibility, additional LED indicators, and assignable keys for improved operability. The menu page provides direct access to camera, CCU, and BPU functions, enhancing usability and expandability. The MSU-3500 can be configured for use with both large and small-scale camera control systems, offering flexibility and scalability in system configuration. It can control up to 96 units of HDC Series system cameras, making it a versatile choice for video production settings. The MSU-3500 features customizable switches, with functions and menus that can be mapped to the assignable keys via the Menu Control page. This allows for quick and easy access to the features you use most. There are three assignable keys on the panel, available via the SW Customize menu with categorized items. The MSU-3500 also includes a USB flash drive feature, allowing you to save or load the MSU's settings. CAM/CCU/BPU Scene files/Reference files can also be saved, and for the HDRC-4000's HDR Production Converter Unit, the All Setting file can be saved. The large LCD touch panel features a new 7-inch WVGA (800x480) panel with improved visibility. The MSU-3500 supports connectivity via a 1000Base-T Ethernet LAN, in addition to a single connection by Sony CCA 8-pin cable. The Web UI application allows for convenient remote operation for MSU initial settings from a remote networked PC with an intuitive user interface (UI). The Status key indicates the connected camera/CCU/BPU's alert status on the LCD panel if it occurs, and some of the setting status can also be indicated.
