Bought this for a 4k Sony Camcorder to shoot footage at a wedding recently. The wedding lasted 5 hrs. Used this only battery for the shootings and had plenty of power left over when done. This is all you should ever need for any event O can think of.

I had the original battery that shipped with the camera and was rated at 2 hours, it would almost make that mark but, I film meetings for archival purposes and having to sweat whether the battery was going to make it or not before I would have to interrupt the meeting to change but, with this new battery, no problem. It charges to over 10 hours of battery life and I've never had to worry again. I've never filmed anything over four hours (wedding and reception) so I don't know if the 10 hour rating is actual record time or not but, as far as the battery itself, best money I could have spent. whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.

I use these batteries on my Sony AX-100 cameras. They often sit for hours on standby and I don't have time to change batteries. These batteries are the answer when you need long lasting power and don't have access to an outlet. I would buy then again and again. I could not be more happy and I definitely recommend them! Five Stars without hesitation.

Although mighty expensive, it is reliable and dependable quality since it is sony. i have had my hands burnt a couple of times, by buying third party similar products. they failed me in mid of the video shoot abruptly. thank God it did not corrupt the files already written on the sdxc card. These original sony batteries provide accurate data (duration) of the battery remaining power.so if u r a professional videographer, please donot take chances with third party products in this situation when u depend so much on the accurate reading of time left on the battery.
