The Sony Alpha a6700 bundle was a great purchase. The camera itself is great. I use it mainly for video taken on a tripod, and the AI body tracking is by far my favorite feature. I looked at buying the camera used, but the bundle really made it a no-brainer to buy new.

This is the latest camera upgrade I have made since first purchasing a Sony a6000 in 2019. At that time, I was looking for something better than the point and shoot cameras I had used up to that point. But I was also looking to stay within a budget and have a small camera as well (after all, the best camera is the one you have with you). I would have bet money that the upgraded camera I would have bought back then would have been a Canon since I had experience with those in my point and shoot cameras, and my dad's AE-1 Program SLR film camera. However, when I started looking, the Sony a6000 was getting rave reviews and the features of it fit just what I was looking for, small and light, interchangeable lenses and plenty of features and settings to capture the photos of my kids in their activities (dance, sports, school events, etc). I loved that camera and it performed very well allowing me to capture photos I would have otherwise been unable to do. I upgraded to the a6400 a few years later to get better auto focus and video (although I use my camera primarily for photos). This was a significant improvement in all ways (other than the size, but still reasonable). When the a6700 was released, I knew I would get one someday. The price was a little more than I was planning to invest in my photography journey, but the features were just mind-blowing. There were some good incentives this past Memorial Day weekend, and so I went for it. I'm still working through all the new features and settings. There are definitely some useful new features. One I really like is it shows on the display of the photo taken when playing it back the location of the focus point. Now I know if the focus was on my kid, or one of the many directly near her). I was disappointed to see they removed the Smile shutter feature. I didn't use it often, but it was a nice thing to have. I guess the timer shutter will have to work or using the the Creators' App to remotely operate the camera takes the place of it. I also need to figure out the video stuff as it seems it is capable of taking videos that is out of reach for my current playback equipment (laptop PC, smart TV, etc). But I will get there, and I plan to have this for many years where the other items in my life will catch up with this camera's capabilities. I have only played around with it a bit while trying to get it setup the same as my a6400 and learning the new features, but my impressions so far are good. I really like that Sony finally put touch screen operation into the a6XXX series of cameras. The a6400 had touch screen, but the functionality was very limited. I have also been comparing the low light capabilities of this camera to my a6400. I see an improvement. I was also pleasantly surprised by the improved images using the optional HEIF (4:2:2) format instead of JPG. I was also surprised that when I converted in software the HEIF file to JPG that the images looked very close to each other. I use Windows for my PC, but Apple for my cell phone. The HEIF format works well enough for me. There are only some web applications that I find won't accept the HEIF format, and then I need to convert to JPG. I have that same issue now with photos from my phone. So while it is a nuisance, it is worth the better photo quality and smaller file size to use that format. The downsides of the a6700 over the a6400 are yet again increased size, and the larger size battery. While that is a good thing, I now need to get at least one more Sony battery to have as a backup. I have used third party batteries with my a6000 and a6400 with mixed results. The risk is too great in my opinion to not use the Sony batteries which I have NEVER seen or read about any issues with. As for the items with the value package, the SD card was the primary item I was interested in. It is great that it is a UHS-II unit that the a6700 takes advantage of. I typically use SanDisk, but I have no reservations with Lexar. I hope this card doesn't change my opinion. I'm still working my way through all the features of this camera but looking forward to better images through the improved focusing and better colors with the latest Sony color science and HEIF format.

This camera is exceptionally well designed, and the image quality is outstanding. I was initially skeptical since my iPhone already takes great photos, but this camera delivers results that a phone simply can't match.

Camera itself is good but very bad sales support and had a worst experience buying from Sony. Firstly this camera got delayed by 7 days from the ETA mentioned on Sony website and secondly it came with couple scratches. Since it was already delayed and even though came with scratches operationally it was working fine. After bringing this to Sony attention no appeasement from their side, rather they gave a solution which cost me another 15 days waiting time to wait for a replacement. I was very loyal to Sony, but lost a customer for life. The way they treat their customer, it's just sad. Attaching photos of scratches.

I was looking for a good camera thats not too expensive and is right in the budget. Explored many different models A6400, ZV E10 M2, finally landed on this. Never have been more happy with the purchase

this camera is amazing while quite expensive. im in my school's film program and we have a small army of these, which was awesome as a first step into videography. my only complaint is the price, which i could never afford personally, but for what youre getting it is 100% worth it.

Great camera. This is my first mirrorless and digital viewfinder. Really great images in all lighting. Tons of settings, but a couple tutorial videos and you're on your way. Travel, Animals, & street photography it's great for it all both in size and quality of images. I don't really use the video functions much but the in body stabilization is good for pictures thus far.

For this mom in the stand it is an amazing camera! It was a huge up grade from what I was using. Picture quality with the kit lens has been great. The simplicity of the settings has been easy to learn with a little help from the internet/YouTube. I have added a GM 70-200 lens which has been fun to use in landscape photos. I am very happy and excited for this camera!

This camera is quite incredible. I was looking for a compact camera that I could carry around as I fly from airport to airport in my light plane (1968 Citabria). I have been using an old Olympus Pen E-LP2) but wanted higher resolution, more reach, better video and so forth. The a6700 is a big camera in a small body. Reviews talk about the EVF not having the highest resolution - my experience is that it is fantastic! I really don't have any complaints. The auto-focus, the tracking, the camera options - everything is in there from the A7 and even the A9 cameras. A great lens selection too. I watched Mark Galer (Sony Ambassador) on Your Tube and learned about this camera, recommended lenses and its capabilities overall. A photographer of any skill level would be pushed to exceed the functionality of this design. And while I still enjoy my little Olympus so much so that I just had the lens repaired by Olympus (come on OM-Systems, where's the new Pen?), the a6700 is professional.

Borrowed a friends A6300 for a few months before purchasing this A6700. Amazing features, much improved menu layout and so much more. This little camera is chock full of the latest technology. I can't speak more highly about this update to the A6000 line! Makes anyone a pro quickly!

This is my seventh Sony APS camera and each one is better than the last one. I shoot mostly fashion and glamour and shoot up to 1000 images per week, usually on the Sony full frame flagship A1 camera. Other than a smaller sensor, the handling and results seem to me to be equal to the more expensive model that is over four times the price. The focus including the eye focus is greatly improved from the previous models. The color is great as is the resolution on the sensor. On my computer monitor I do not see a difference from the Sony A1. My favorite lenses due to quality are the Sony 18-105 f/4 OSS G lens and the Sigma 56 mm f/1.4 lens. I have many 20" x 30" prints from these cameras that are tack sharp. The only negatives are the total lack of battery charger included from Sony although Adorama does include these along with an extra battery. Also the menu is quite complicated although being a Sony shooter for so many years I did not have any problems with it. In summary this is an outstanding camera capable of truly professional results. The handling and images are equal to the heavier, and more expensive professional flagship cameras. I am considering making this my every day camera.

Great camera. I was disappointed because the 6100-6400 have the built in flash, and this 6700 didn't have one. Also the flip screen is on the side. I prefer the flip screen to be on the top. Great lens and quality.

Sony A6700 camera overheats very fast, and is not only when shooting video as others are reporting, also when you browse thru menu settings or when waiting to take a picture or video (on idle), it gets very uncomfortable to carry as it gets very hot before shutting down itself, not a reliable camera for when you need it. I am very disappointment that I expended a lot of money for a camera that shuts down after a few minutes. Firmware also upgraded to the latest 1.3 and is the same scenario, I really feel that this was a really bad purchase from my end.

Received the camera only, in 2 days. It took a couple more days for the rest of the accessories in the package deal. I had previously used a 2011 Sony a65, and compared to that, the a6700 is amazing. Especially the Auto Focus system. The low light ability is amazing. This camera has all of Sony's latest advanced features, in an APSC Camera. I specifically want an APSC because of the Crop Factor. Makes my 70 - 200 act like a 105 - 350mmm. I do mostly Marching Band Photos under stadium lights, or Indoor Guard events, also not the greatest lighting conditions. So far I really love the a6700.

My first digital camera since 2010 when my Lumix failed and I reverted to using the iPhone. For over 10 years I've used my iPhone as my camera and am now ready for a full digital camera experience. I am not disappointed with the Sony a6700. It's an awesome machine, something that will grow with me and cover all the uses I bought it for: nature and travel photography and, astrophotography.

I love this thing, great body style, grip, packed with modern future proof specs and features. Good build quality. Problem to why I giving it a 1 star is that after barely 30 days of owning this thing with less than 400 shutter count, my camera started to intermittently not boot up, nothing on screen and red led light flashes, 3 times then 1 time and repeats. Would require to remove battery and reinsert for it to boot, after that it usually works fine. Sometimes it wont even boot up at all if after removing the battery. Some reason, sony tech support doesn't know how to diagnose the flashing sequence, its clearly telling us that camera is faulty and what could be the solution or error. Now I have to send camera out after just having it for 1 month and be out of a camera for 2-3 weeks. If it wasnt for this weird issue and poor experience, i think this camera is 10 out of 5. Its that good, sadly the faulty issue and lack of information to what the diagnostic flashing could mean.

I'm very happy that I upgraded my camera choice from the Sony Cyber-shot DSC RX100 to the Sony a6700 with 3.5 zoom lens. They are both great cameras, but the ability to acquire high quality lenses with this apsc camera, 26 megapixels, AI infused system, with outstanding multi-focus capabilities is a no brainer. For $200 more, this camera system allows me to grow into my current and future photography needs with massive improvement. Moreover, the Adorama camera bundle is a very helpful accessory as well. This photography equipment set is a great buy for someone seeking high value and reasonable cost.

Pairs well with my a7R4, interesting updates to menu nav, more detailed subject recognition, seems a bit more accurate getting focus. Have yet to try focus bracket but this is something I wish the a7R4 had as an option. Fully articulating screen as opposed to only tilt on a7R4 (I like both types, sometimes a quick tilt is nice). No input for wired shutter release on a6700, no built in flash, only 1 sd slot (might expect more here, but by no means dealbreakers). For the price, definitely worth it. So far, taking great photo after photo with it. And yet to take many videos, but seems quite capable of taking great videos.

I am brand new to photography and was intimidated by all the choices. I settled on the Sony A6700 because I knew all the features would get me through many years of learning. While I am still trying to get my bearings, the A6700 is very intuitive and easy to navigate. I have small arthritic hands with carpal tunnel so the size and weight is perfect. I absolutely love that as a beginner, the A6700 has allowed me to take beautiful images to further excite me about photography! I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone!

I have the Sony A7III and still love that camera. Now, I decided to get the A-6700 for it's small factor and I got say, I really love this camera. Sure, is not even close to my A7III in low light, that camera is still a beast in that respect, but for an APS-C, I do believe it does perform really well. The AF in low light blew my mind, literally. I makes my A7III looks like an ancient camera for AF, and that's really not the case, is just soooo much better. That's one reason I got the A6700, because I'm really low light places with my camera. For me it's a great trade off, the AF for the low light capability.
