The One and SL are a great Combo if you have the Playbar
We used the One and One SL as rears for the Playbar...so far, working really well. I think the sub will really add a lot of additional quality. But the two rears were easy to setup and work flawlessly. They have the right about of balance for surround sound. They also add a lot of value when listening to music, giving that true stereo experience.
Outstanding sound and easy to use
Love Sonos products. I now have 3 Sonos One units and a Roam. I have two of the One's stereo paired and they sound as good as my high end stereo system. Love being able to control the music from my phone or iPad.

The Sonos One (Gen 2) Smart Speaker with built-in Amazon Alexa voice control returns with the same intuitive interface and room-filling sound, albeit with new and improved internal features. Unlike its predecessor, the Gen 2 not only supports Wi-Fi connectivity for expanded range, but also Bluetooth Low-Energy for easier setup and hyper-local communication. In addition, the new quad-core processor and increased memory are set to enable seamless feature upgrades. Like the original version, the second-generation Sonos One lets you manage music, podcasts, news, audiobooks, and vinyl records at your fingertips and through voice commands. While these smart speakers are the smallest in the brand’s lineup, they pack enough oomph to fill a room with crisp surround sound. The seamless Alexa integration lets you make a handful of useful commands, like enabling multi-room listening, turning the volume up or down in a specific room, and pulling up a playlist from your favorite audio streaming service. Gen 2 has an updated processor, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and increased memory.
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) was first introduced with Sonos Beam, and now we are bringing it to Sonos One Gen 2. Just like with Beam, BLE can be used to temporarily communicate with your phone/tablet to simplify the first-time setup process. BLE does not support audio streaming. Once setup is done, Sonos One Gen 2 streams and updates via your WiFi just like the original Sonos One.
Gen 2 works seamlessly with the original Sonos One as a stereo pair or home theater surrounds.
