The Stack-On PS-508 Extra Wide Strong Box Safe is a great addition to a college dorm room for securing a laptop computer, iPod, MP3 player, digital camera, credit cards, cash and more. It has pre-drilled fastening holes in the back of the safe that utilize an optional cable lock for keeping the safe securely attached to a bed frame or other furniture (sold separately). To assist in protecting valuable in the safe from damage there is egg-crate foam padding on the bottom.
It features 2 live locking door bolts, concealed hinges and a solid steel, pry resistant door. The electronic lock can easily be programmed by the user with a "Safety Key" override with a time-out period after 3 incorrect combination attempts. There are pre-drilled holes for mounting to the floor or shelf with fastening hardware included.
