Worth The Money

I bought this to store two automatic pistols. For the price, I think it offers very reasonable security. It's obviously not going to stop determined thieves from using heavy-duty tools to get it open, but to keep firearms safe from the average intruder (especially if mounted in a less-than-obvious location) it looks like it will do the job.

A nice little lock-box

I use this to store handguns. The electronic lock is very convenient, and the key over-ride provides peace of mind that old batteries won't lock me out. Bolt holes on the bottom allow solid mounting to the floor or a shelf. There are youtube videos that demonstrate how to make the safe even more secure against "solenoid displacement" or PIN reset from the exterior.

The Stack-On PS-514 Security Plus, Strong-Box Personal Safe includes a removable shelf for greater storage options. The pre-drilled holes and included fastening hardware allow you to mount the safe to a floor or shelf to suit your needs and preferences. The bottom and removable shelf are both foam padded to prevent scratches and damage to your valuables.

The 2.5 mm thick solid-plate steel door, 6 mm thick pry-resistant door, concealed hinges and 2 live-action steel locking bolts make sure anything inside the safe is secure. You can turn the beep sound on the keypad on or off and the time-out safety mechanism shuts the keypad off temporarily after 3 incorrect attempts.

The exterior dimensions are 9.5/8(D)" x 13.13/16"(W) x 9.5/8"(H) and it weighs 28 lb. It includes an emergency override key for immediate access.
