The Sony XA900 Wireless Speaker Dock features a modern, minimalist design with premium cloth-wrapped speakers and a brushed stainless steel finish. It supports AirPlay and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR wireless audio streaming. AirPlay requires WLAN 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi connectivity with an iPod, iPhone or iPad. It can also stream music wirelessly from your Mac or PC computer iTunes library. The speaker also supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR wireless audio streaming using the A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles. The Bluetooth connection enables streaming from Android smartphones and tablets.
For wired connectivity, the speaker features an integrated Lightning dock, an optical digital audio input, an Ethernet jack, a composite video output and a 3.5 mm analog stereo audio input. The two audio inputs allow you to connect any audio device with either an optical output or an auxiliary line/headphone jack. The integrated dock supports iPod, iPhone or iPad connection. The dock also charges your Apple device while it's playing. The composite video output even let's you view video content from your iPod/iPhone/iPad on a TV with a composite video input.
