Sony Portable Dock for Lightning iPhone/iPod/iPad

I'm usually a big fan of Sony products, but not this product. Within a year it developed a buzz at the lower levels. I do not play it loud. I've tried switching the various levels to shake the buzz, but haven't been able to. I wish there was a little more control over the tone and levels. It's almost unlistenable at times.

The docking platform worked as expected and it sounds great. I thought it was a little heavier that I expected but that could be due to the use of internal batteries.

Good price. Internet purchase from National Chain. Packaging during shipment was impressive. No damage. Ease of set up, remote easy to use. Versatility just great; FM, Pandora, charger, alarm or whatever. Nice sound quality and more than ample volume. Very, very handy to have as sound system for 2nd area, such as bedroom, garage, work area or kitchen. Seems very well made; very satisfied with Sony. Ditched Bose.

Got it for daughter for her phone and tablet. Love the features to sync and charge Iphones and Ipad. Sound is great except when you reach after the volume level 20. You lose the bass and you just get the a lot of noise after that. Got it on sale ($100 off) and used a gift card to purchase so, it was a great deal for me. Great for soft easy listening in the bedroom.

I love sound quality and it took me a few months to test all the current speakers on the market. Nothing could be the Sony and I was so impressed that I bought a second one for my mom. It is very easy to use, the price is right and the battery makes it your next companion at the beach, pool, yard, party, barbq, shower. Best purchase ever.

Great purchase, however the dock will not work if you have a case on your iphone 5/5s. Again, your iphone will not play or charge if you wear any standard case (ex.apple case).

The sound quality on this docking system is great. At normal volumes, the bass is deep, the mid-range is clear, and it provides very good treble. But, when the volume gets really cranked, the bass stops going up with the volume. But this product is highly recommended by me a music lover. The styling of this product is sharp and is well built. Since this device is also portable, I took it to a party to celebrate the end of the school year. Thanks to the speakers, that was one of the best times I ever had in school. Great Job Sony!

This speaker feels and sounds substantial, especially for its size. It looks sharp, fairly simple to operate, the only thing I needed to refer to instructions on was the setting of preset FM stations. The sound is very rich and deep you'll be looking around for the big stereo if you walk into a room with this little guy belting out some music. The Sony Store was great at getting this out to me with email reports every step of the way. So glad I stuck with S.S. for this purchase instead of trying to save a couple of dollars at some dealer you never heard of

I love this speaker! It has wonderful sound quality and does much more than the Bose dock for the same price. I upgraded my phone and lost 90% of my music, I was excited to know I can play the music from my tablet via Bluetooth! Buy this one, its great!
