I had no problem with it at all.  Focus was great, but not very deep.  For example, if something is in front of the camera, it will focus on that and background items may be fuzzy; but I expect that.  Manual focus is available if you are determined to focus on one thing.  Knocked off a star because it costs a fortune for the 4k software upgrade:  it works great at 1080p or whatever the default it, but you need a separate license from Sony to get to 4k which runs into a lot of money.

Great camera, 4k costs a lot

Doesn't provide the sharp clarity one would expect from a Sony camera. Certainly cannot be paired with anything else outside of this same camera and obtain a picture quality that is the same.
