Merry Christmas to you Sam!DAVID W : The operation of the VALUE/R knob and the BRIGHT/B depends on how the camera is set up. Check your camera settings with the camera menu and make sure you aren't in AUTO mode.

Right unit for the job

I chose this joystick over the Telemetrics CPITVD300 because of the numerous feedback I got from experienced users. This joystick has a better feel to it and it is very flexible in the way you choose to connect it to the camera. The 16 presets are awesome and switchable lighted keys adds to its functionality. Some of the features are dependant on the type of robotic camera you have installed. Small incremental panning when zoomed in close can be a little hard and a little jerky. This unit does not have a D9 RS323 port, only a mini din8 and (2)rs422 ports. I bought some din8 to rj45 adapters on [...]so I can make very long runs between the camera and joystick with cat5e cable which is very cost effective. This joystick is a little pricey but Adorama had the best price around [...].
