Replacement Roams

Had 2 Roam speakers which both had failed batteries Rang Sonos. Unbelievable service. I sent my d roams to the service centre. After 2 days confirmed that the battery was dead and could not be charged. Within a week replacement speakers arrived. Sensational

Best mobile speaker I have ever had

I use this in the garden when entertain. I use it as a stereo pair with one speaker in the bar and one on the table outside. The sound is superb and the unit is beefy enough to fill the garden with sound when we party. My friend has now bought one too!

Good sound portable form

Yes this as a portable speaker and study room speaker. Has a good battery life and a powerful sound for its small size. Easy to carry around and set up. Only gripe is that switching between Bluetooth and WiFi can be a bit finicky at times. Occasionally difficult to repair back into the WiFi network after using it as Bluetooth. Otherwise very happy with the purchase

Sonos Roam 2

This Roam 2 was a replacement for the original Roam that had already been replaced previously as it failed to power up. The Roam 2 has far better sound and is easier to switch between Bluetooth and wireless. 10 out of 10 for Sonos support and willingness to replace twice when out of guarantee ??

Beautiful sounding speaker

I bought Roam 2 to replace a Roam 1 which had suddenly died after 3 years. I was a bit reluctant to buy this as the Roam1, whilst having fantastic sound quality, had proved to be quite temperamental at times, switching itself on and off without being asked, or disconnecting from Alexa and taking a lot of effort to get reconnected. I am pleased to say that these flaws seem to have been rectified with the Roam 2, and it is working perfectly without any problems.

Fantastic Product

I use my speaker both at home and 'on the move'. The weight and portability are both great. I also bought the Otter box cover, as recommended on the website, and the fits perfectly and does not affect the speakers performance. I am really pleased with my first Sonos purchase.

Roam 2 replacement

This replacement of my original Roam which had some port and charging issue works great. Appreciate Sonos for standing behind their products and dealing with these issues. Had similar charging issues with my Sonos Move which also replaced with a more reliable replacement . I must also say I was an early adopter of both these speakers and again am grateful to Sonos for their service on issues I had.

I love my Era 100's and 300's not so sure about Roam 2

Great because it's suited to outdoors and is portable (battery). Sound quality pales in comparison to my Era 100 speakers and they are similarly priced.

It's good but its not perfect.

This is a good sounding speaker, but it takes a lot of time to connect to the wireless from startup. This is different then the "plug in" speakers because to has to connect when you turn it on. I bought this because of the wireless, and it is to be desired. The sound is great when it decides to stay connected.

Added a Roam to Sonos System - Fantastic!!!

I work in our kitchen with a huge TV in the adjacent Family Room. I love that the Roam allows me to have perfect sound regardless of where I am. If hubby's napping in back of the house, I can turn down sound on TV and isolate it to wherever I am. Also beautiful sound quality when hooked up to phone for podcasts and streaming.
