Never owned a mp3 player before, but this is just perfect because it also has a FM Tuner which you can record. With 16 gig of memory your tunes never get stale you can just load up some different ones or record right off FM radio. I just love this little red baby, crystal clear sound ease of use with explore to organize folders of music, podcasts or radio recordings. Had it a month now with no problems. Got the silicone protective case with screen protector this thing will never be out of date. Ipods are over rated and too expensive and don't have FM tuners built in. I can record new tunes on one bus ride to work with the FM tuner so the music always changes and never gets stale and don't have to pay itunes a cent. Can download podcast to computer and put them right on the player and not pay a cent again. This is just perfect for my needs. I

I got this for my 60 year old mother, and she finds it very easy to use. I loaded the music and videos on it for her and was initially worried about if it would play itunes music, and it does. Very easy to drag and drop into the player.

I got this player for christmas & it's the best I've ever had. It has great storage & sound. The only design flaw is the speakers on back. You have to place it facedown in order to hear the music properly, while that keeps you from seeing the display, at least the sound quality is good. I haven't had any problems for 7 months, until this week. I dropped it & the volume button fell off, now I can't seem to find anywhere to get it fixed. I just want a new button & the only option that has been given to me is to trade in my player for a refurb. I like my player & don't want to trade for one somebody probably had bigger probs with. Overall this is a great player, as long as you don't let it get hurt.

It is a great device easy to use and download songs, pictures and video. Sound clarity is great. One thing I don't like is when you turn it off and turn it back on it replays the songs you played turning it off but it does not continue to the next shuffled song it goes back to the very first song on your playlist. I would like the screensaver to be a picture or maybe a cd cover photo but it only displays a flashing clock don't like that. I highly recommend this product or any sony product.
